For years, Salsa Leedos has been a beacon of exceptional dining and community spirit in our area. From its humble beginnings on 90th South, where our football board meetings became a cherished tradition, this restaurant has consistently delivered outstanding Mexican food that is second to none.

The food at Salsa Leedos is nothing short of amazing. Each dish bursts with authentic flavors, meticulous attention to detail, and a passion for quality that is evident in every bite. Whether you’re indulging in their amazing tacos, zesty enchiladas, delicious smothered burritos or their yummy salsas, you can be assured that only the freshest ingredients are used. It’s a Mexican food experience that keeps you coming back for more.

What truly sets Salsa Leedos apart, however, is the extraordinary dedication of its owners and staff. They have built a reputation not just for great food, but for their compassionate and giving nature. Their engagement with the community transcends the restaurant experience. From hosting fundraisers to helping local and national causes, they genuinely care about the people they serve, making a profound impact in our area.

The staff is always welcoming and attentive, creating a warm atmosphere that feels like home. Their genuine smiles and commitment to excellent service elevate the dining experience, ensuring that every visit is memorable.

In a world where great food is often accompanied by indifferent service, Salsa Leedos stands out as a remarkable exception. You will be hard-pressed to find a better combination of incredible food and compassionate people anywhere else.

If you’re looking for a place that truly embodies the spirit of community while serving unparalleled Mexican cuisine, look no further than Salsa Leedos. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who values food that nourishes both the body...

A Taste of Mexico with a Heart of Gold: Salsa Leedos Delivers! From the moment you step into Salsa Leedos, you're not just a customer, you're family. The welcoming atmosphere is immediately apparent, with warm lighting, inviting decor, and a general buzz of happy diners that makes you feel right at home. It's the kind of place where you can truly relax and enjoy your meal. Which we do at least once a week! But what truly sets Salsa Leedos apart are the incredibly friendly and exceptionally giving owners. They are the heart and soul of this establishment, and their genuine warmth radiates throughout the entire restaurant. It's clear they're not just running a business; they're building a community. You'll often see them greeting guests, sharing a laugh, and making sure everyone feels valued. Beyond their fantastic hospitality, these owners are always supporting the community in meaningful ways. Whether it's sponsoring local events, donating to charities, or simply going the extra mile to help those in need, their commitment to giving back is truly inspiring. Dining here feels good in more ways than one, knowing you're supporting a local business that genuinely cares. And then, of course, there's the food! Salsa Leedos serves up excellent Mexican food that is both authentic and incredibly delicious. Each dish is a testament to fresh ingredients and masterful preparation. From the vibrant salsas and perfectly seasoned meats to the fluffy rice and flavorful beans, every bite is a culinary delight. Don't miss their homemade sweet pork! My favorite! In a world where genuine hospitality can sometimes be hard to find, Salsa Leedos stands out as a true gem. It's a place where you'll find amazing food, a wonderful ambiance, and owners who embody the spirit of generosity and community....

So, I stopped in here this afternoon. I will be honest I was not expecting much. Was I ever wrong? Yes indeed. The staff was terrific. The food tasted great and the portions are more than fair for the price. Get the house queso. That stuff is just that damn good. I ordered my staple. I had guacamole with my chips, and the carne asada burrito but this time I has it smothered in the queso. Let me tell you folks that is one seriously good burrito. All the right spices with the meat cooked just right and then you add the queso! Talk about a feast for the eyes and the taste buds. Mix in the guacamole (which by the way is done right) and I am one happy man. If you know me you know I love my carne asada and guacamole. It's how I judge a establishment. If they can do that right, they probably are not going to mess up the rest of the orders. I met with the manager Jake and he took sometime out of his day to discuss the menu and staff the history of some of the dishes and my experience there. Y'all here is a man that cares about the service you get and the product that reaches you. He wants you to enjoy your time with him and his staff so when you stop in make sure you say hi to him and give him some honest feed back. I'll wager it will be mostly good. As for me, Salsa Leedos is on the far side of the valley but for that meal I can see it being a weekly trip. I have a new go to place for my carne asada fix. Hope to see everyone soon enjoying this dining experience. Take care and be good...

This place is hit or miss, mostly miss for me. When we first moved to Herriman everyone kept telling us to come to Salsa Leedos. The first time we got takeout from the old location, because the place was too busy for us to eat in. It didn’t travel well, so we decided we’d have to try it at the restaurant. So we waited for a seat next time but still wasn’t impressed. Then we tried it again at the new location and still wasn’t impressed. We keep trying because everyone talks about how good the food is. On our fourth visit I tried the sweet pork burrito. This was the first thing I tried that was good (previous visits I got the chimichanga). Based on how much I enjoyed the burrito, we came again tonight. I got the sweet pork nachos and my husband got shredded beef enchiladas. My nachos were soggy, which I don’t understand how fresh nachos could have soggy chips. The sweet pork wasn’t very good either, which surprised me since I enjoyed the sweet pork burrito. My husband did enjoy his enchiladas. He got 3 lemonade refills, which is okay- we prefer more attentive waiters. My husband would drink 10 refills if they were provided. If you come here on a Friday night, your wait will be an hour, so come at a different time. It has a fun environment. I guess I just don’t understand what everyone sees in this place. UPDATE: changed to 2 stars after being sick all night after my meal.

Very delicious Mexican food. I prefer this restaurant over any others in the area of Riverton. Be sure that no matter what burrito you order, add queso on top! Come after 4 pm and they give you bean dip with your complimentary chips and salsa. The wall art is amazing here with fun murals and traditional Mexican paintings that resemble day of the dead. There is a points program where you register your info and they send you coupons for a free meal after you spend $100 and a free meal for your birthday too! So make sure you ask for the rewards because you will want to come back and try more things on the menu. Guacamole is very creamy and a great addition to your chips. Staff is friendly and are helping each other out. Other waiters will offer to help fill your drinks if they are low and sometimes they have fun blue or pink hair to show off for kids. There is a giant chair to sit in out front and take pictures in. During the summer they have fun games to play in the front lawn while you wait. Games such as corn hole and tic tac toe and catch a rope on a bar. You will love it here.
