What an awesome restaurant. It serves Texas-Mexican border style food, which in my opinion is the best of all Mexican foods. The service is prompt, the restaurant is new, the food is served almost too hot to eat (the way I like it) on very hot plates. The salsa is tasty and jalepeno pepper warm; the more I eat it, the more I want eat it. My favorite dish (from a very large menu) are the triple shredded chicken enchiladas made with flour tortillas. That meal costs a little over $13 as I recall which may seem pricey, but its so big I think it must have 2 whole chicken breasts in it, all white meat. I eat half an enchilada (I'm full), then take the rest home to package and store the other 5 enchilada halves for lunches and dinners. I literally get 6 meals from that one order. I strongly recommend the refried beans; they are authentic and excellent. Finally, Herriman Utah has a really good restaurant that isn't just...
Read moreFirst and LAST time ever ordering here! Ordered online (for the office), paid, got order # and receipt. When arrived to pick up order was told "We don't do online ordering" ??? Gave them my order # and was told "We don't do online orders" so went somewhere else for lunch (now pressed for time) and then got a phone call that my order was ready!!!??? Apparently their online ordering is done through a 3rd party. Shouldn't that have been taken into consideration when I was told they don't do online ordering???Since they already billed my card I HAD to go get it! Ended up with 2 different lunches one went to waste :-( won't waste my time EVER again! Food was not impressive enough to justify the headache it caused. Portions were very cheap compared to similar restaurants. Not a fan of how this situation was handled. Poor customer service and mediocre food. WARNING!!! Do NOT...
Read moreSo Disappointed! This restaurant used to be our go to for Mexican food. No longer. My husband ordered to Combination Platter and I always eat the Tostada and Taco that come with it. My Tostada had absolutely no beans, only lettuce, cheese and tomatoes. The “beef” taco had no beef. It was filled with nothing but refried beans and a little cheese. Chili Verde Burrito had about 3 Tablespoons of Chili Verde and the Cheese burrito was subpar at best. The food was lukewarm to cold and we ordered it from outside the restaurant so we picked it up as soon as it came out of the kitchen. Ridiculous! My husband said we are not ever going there again. Too bad. We have been customers of La Frontera for over 25 years but no longer. Another restaurant with Increased prices and decreased quality. I don’t mind paying a little more if the food is good but not...
