1st time! Family of 4 went on a week night at 6:15pm. We were quoted a 45min wait, which was pretty accurate. The waiting area is very small and narrow with one bench, so it’s great they text you when your table is ready so you can wait in your car when it’s cold out. Hosts were super friendly :).
Our food was delicious. We ordered the roasted artichoke appetizer to start and it was SO good! Only enough for 2 people to share. My husband and I got the small four cheese blend Detroit style pizza herbivore style. It was amazing. I would definitely recommend getting your own if you don’t get an appetizer and salad. We are small eaters and it was barely enough to share. My 2 kids shared the small bar style cheese pizza and it was a good size for them to share. I highly recommend trying the root beer! Best EVER!
A few things I would have appreciated. Going on the website just now I see there are monthly specials which I would have loved to try, but had no idea about because the server didn’t mention them :(. Also, it was obvious something went wrong with the Detroit pizza we ordered because my kid’s pizza came out and although they said ours would be out in a moment it actually took 15 minutes. When I mentioned it to the server several minutes into waiting for it she kind of shrugged and said ok. No apology or that she would check on it. She just walked away to another table. After another 10 minutes I stopped the girl working the pizza line to ask about it and she checked on it and it came out a couple of minutes later. She was very friendly but again, no apology for the delay or ownership that it might have been forgotten or made wrong. Customer service brings people back more than the actual food. An apology would have been nice and usually in these instances an offer of comping a food item would have been appropriate. Either of those would have made us feel “cared” for. Luckily my children are older and were patient enough to wait for us to be finished eating well after they were finished. Things for management to consider and address with the staff. Being proactive and communicating with guests when a problem is discovered will improve customer appreciation a ton.
Atmosphere is fun and pleasant. Restaurant was clean and there’s a great takeout area! Loved the music ;). Welcome to Riverton/Herriman area. We’ll...
Read moreWe were early for a movie and were starving, so we decided to hop over and try Via 313 Pizza in Riverton for the first time. We went about 4:00pm and it wasn't busy, but it wasn't empty either. Our waiter was prompt and service was great! We got our drinks within 2 minutes of walking in the door. He asked if we had been there before and even offered recommendations of his favorites. They have gluten free and vegan options available, which is cool. They also have a full bar menu. When we placed our order he told us approximately how long our order would take to complete, I loved that he did that because he set our expectations for wait times. We had meatballs brought over and they were tasty and super fresh. The sauce was really good! It was thick, flavorful, and tasted homemade. I would say that if you have anyone with extreme sensitivity to spice, they may want to ask for sauce on the side with the pizza. I loved the flavor, but I would imagine with a picky eater, a small child, a senior citizen, or someone who does not like any spice, it would probably be a bit too much. We had a small Ambassador pizza brought over Detroit style and it was beyond delicious! All of the ingredients were fresh, the crust was incredible, and the ricotta threw it over the top for me. The sauce on top made it so that the crust stayed crisp and it didn't get soggy at all. A small pizza ran around $17 and it was plenty for the two of us. The bill for 2 fountain drinks, and the pizza was $25. It's a bit more expensive than other chain pizza places, but the quality isn't even close. The way I looked at it was, would I expect to spend $25 at a full service place where I could enjoy my meal fresh from the oven for 2 people? I think it was 100% a deal for a date dinner! This is by far the best tasting pizza available in Utah. They are not catering to a bland flavor palette and that is so refreshing in Utah. This is now my favorite pizza place in the state. I am not sure I will ever get pizza from anywhere else, I liked it THAT much! ...
Read moreSo. Much. YUM! I contacted the manager, Peter, to arrange a birthday dinner at the Riverton location. He was very friendly and helpful, and didn't bat an eye when I said it was for 22 people!
When we arrived the tables were set and ready. Our servers, Connor and Jack, were very attentive from the appearance of the first guest to the departure of the last. They were very knowledgable and had great recommendations for both food and drink. Peter was also very attentive, making sure that everything was running smoothly.
This was my first experience with Via 313, so I didn't know what to expect. The atmosphere was very comfortable and inviting. We started with cocktails which were craft and well balanced. All of the drinks that came out to our party looked beautiful.
I started with the Beet Salad which was colorful and delectable. I loved how the crisp apple paired with the marinated beets. And the candied pecans? So good.
The pizza menu offers something for everyone and it was difficult to make a choice. I decided on the Bobo Brazil, and I was not disappointed. The deep crust was perfectly chewy and crispy on the edges. I loved the spiciness of the hot calabrese, but what really put it over the top was the hot honey. Wow.
What's more, before we placed our orders they brought out garlic cheese sticks, and then we finished with their cinnamon sticks. Both were wonderfully delicious.
Everything that was ordered in our party was equally amazing and left me wanting to try it all. I will most definitely be back. Not just for the great food, but for the friendly service of Peter and his crew. Thank you for the...
