1st time! Family of 4 went on a week night at 6:15pm. We were quoted a 45min wait, which was pretty accurate. The waiting area is very small and narrow with one bench, so it’s great they text you when your table is ready so you can wait in your car when it’s cold out. Hosts were super friendly :).

Our food was delicious. We ordered the roasted artichoke appetizer to start and it was SO good! Only enough for 2 people to share. My husband and I got the small four cheese blend Detroit style pizza herbivore style. It was amazing. I would definitely recommend getting your own if you don’t get an appetizer and salad. We are small eaters and it was barely enough to share. My 2 kids shared the small bar style cheese pizza and it was a good size for them to share. I highly recommend trying the root beer! Best EVER!

A few things I would have appreciated. Going on the website just now I see there are monthly specials which I would have loved to try, but had no idea about because the server didn’t mention them :(. Also, it was obvious something went wrong with the Detroit pizza we ordered because my kid’s pizza came out and although they said ours would be out in a moment it actually took 15 minutes. When I mentioned it to the server several minutes into waiting for it she kind of shrugged and said ok. No apology or that she would check on it. She just walked away to another table. After another 10 minutes I stopped the girl working the pizza line to ask about it and she checked on it and it came out a couple of minutes later. She was very friendly but again, no apology for the delay or ownership that it might have been forgotten or made wrong. Customer service brings people back more than the actual food. An apology would have been nice and usually in these instances an offer of comping a food item would have been appropriate. Either of those would have made us feel “cared” for. Luckily my children are older and were patient enough to wait for us to be finished eating well after they were finished. Things for management to consider and address with the staff. Being proactive and communicating with guests when a problem is discovered will improve customer appreciation a ton.

Atmosphere is fun and pleasant. Restaurant was clean and there’s a great takeout area! Loved the music ;). Welcome to Riverton/Herriman area. We’ll...

We were early for a movie and were starving, so we decided to hop over and try Via 313 Pizza in Riverton for the first time. We went about 4:00pm and it wasn't busy, but it wasn't empty either. Our waiter was prompt and service was great! We got our drinks within 2 minutes of walking in the door. He asked if we had been there before and even offered recommendations of his favorites. They have gluten free and vegan options available, which is cool. They also have a full bar menu. When we placed our order he told us approximately how long our order would take to complete, I loved that he did that because he set our expectations for wait times. We had meatballs brought over and they were tasty and super fresh. The sauce was really good! It was thick, flavorful, and tasted homemade. I would say that if you have anyone with extreme sensitivity to spice, they may want to ask for sauce on the side with the pizza. I loved the flavor, but I would imagine with a picky eater, a small child, a senior citizen, or someone who does not like any spice, it would probably be a bit too much. We had a small Ambassador pizza brought over Detroit style and it was beyond delicious! All of the ingredients were fresh, the crust was incredible, and the ricotta threw it over the top for me. The sauce on top made it so that the crust stayed crisp and it didn't get soggy at all. A small pizza ran around $17 and it was plenty for the two of us. The bill for 2 fountain drinks, and the pizza was $25. It's a bit more expensive than other chain pizza places, but the quality isn't even close. The way I looked at it was, would I expect to spend $25 at a full service place where I could enjoy my meal fresh from the oven for 2 people? I think it was 100% a deal for a date dinner! This is by far the best tasting pizza available in Utah. They are not catering to a bland flavor palette and that is so refreshing in Utah. This is now my favorite pizza place in the state. I am not sure I will ever get pizza from anywhere else, I liked it THAT much! ...

So. Much. YUM! I contacted the manager, Peter, to arrange a birthday dinner at the Riverton location. He was very friendly and helpful, and didn't bat an eye when I said it was for 22 people!

When we arrived the tables were set and ready. Our servers, Connor and Jack, were very attentive from the appearance of the first guest to the departure of the last. They were very knowledgable and had great recommendations for both food and drink. Peter was also very attentive, making sure that everything was running smoothly.

This was my first experience with Via 313, so I didn't know what to expect. The atmosphere was very comfortable and inviting. We started with cocktails which were craft and well balanced. All of the drinks that came out to our party looked beautiful.

I started with the Beet Salad which was colorful and delectable. I loved how the crisp apple paired with the marinated beets. And the candied pecans? So good.

The pizza menu offers something for everyone and it was difficult to make a choice. I decided on the Bobo Brazil, and I was not disappointed. The deep crust was perfectly chewy and crispy on the edges. I loved the spiciness of the hot calabrese, but what really put it over the top was the hot honey. Wow.

What's more, before we placed our orders they brought out garlic cheese sticks, and then we finished with their cinnamon sticks. Both were wonderfully delicious.

Everything that was ordered in our party was equally amazing and left me wanting to try it all. I will most definitely be back. Not just for the great food, but for the friendly service of Peter and his crew. Thank you for the...

I had been looking forward to trying this out and it did NOT disappoint! We came here on a busy Thursday evening, which was opening week. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our server Raelee was fantastic. My wife prefers Gluten-free options. Raelee asked if it was due to allergy or preference, which she explained was due to a different process they take when helping out GF customers. We appreciated the attention to detail in that regard. The pizza is Detroit-style, which means they bake the pizza with dough and cheese/toppings first, before the sauce goes on. This way the crust and cheese end up crusting up for a delicious result. I was skeptical at first, but wow! They’re crust was tasty, both crunchy and simultaneously chewy with a great flavor. My wife’s GF crust was surprisingly good! Crunchy on the edges and corners but soft in the middle. Not the typical GF crust which is normally similar to cardboard. The root beer was fantastic. It was similar to higher quality homemade root beer, similar to what I’ve had at places that brew it in-house. We opted to try the cinnamon sticks too, which were GF. They were super flavorful and worth a shot. We also had the manager come and check on us and spent time letting us know about their expansion into Utah. Super cool guy. We will definitely make a quick return!

Here lies another overrated pizza place in the Riverton/Herriman area. I decided on getting a Detroit style Margherita pizza. If there is one thing Via 313 did well, it was the crust! It was thick, yet buttery. fluffy, and cooked through just enough. It was not at all hard to my teeth, and true to Detroit style. Yet, the pizza falls short on everything else. There was a good amount of cheese on the pizza. Yet, somehow, it was BLAND! It was cheese in texture only! It didn't taste like a Wisconsin brick cheese that typically goes on a good Detroit style pizza. Then, while the San Marzano sauce was good, they hardly put any on top of the pizza! I was expecting the sauce to be piled on high just like in other pictures of the pizza served here, and they didn't deliver on that! I could compare Via 313 to Dion's in New Mexico because both can only deliver on the crust. The pizza also set me back $16. That isn't great, but isn't terrible. Considering that, it was at least more filling that Lackwater's medigan pizza. I cannot recommend Via 313. if you live near this establishment, go take a 30 minute drive and try Bricks Corner or Villagio's.
