Not impressed. First choice was two meat with brisket and ribs. Out of ribs. Second choice was the chicken thigh instead of the ribs. No chicken thigh. Third choice was the pork. They had the pork! Also ordered the fried pickles and the roll. According to the menu, the two meat comes with one side and a roll or hush puppies. Also got a 32 oz drink. Looked at the receipt and they charged an extra dollar for the fried pickles when that upcharge is nowhere indicated on the menu. When I asked an employee, she said the sweet potato fries and fried pickles have an extra charge. Wasn't even told that when ordering. Next, went to grab Diet Coke and yet again struck out. Had to request from an employee to refill it. The food came out pretty quick but the only warm thing on my tray was the fried pickles. Both meats were barely room temp and the roll was colder than room temp. Not impressed. When asking for ranch for the pickles, again, they were out. Only BBQ ranch. Not nearly as good as they could have been if there was regular ranch. And the parchment paper on the tray tears very easily. Again, not impressed. The floor and the tables are sticky. Only reason I don't give a one star is because the flavor of the food was decent. Other than the flavor, nothing reached my expectation. Then again, what can you expect from a "fast food" BBQ place. Will not be returning...
Read moreIf you’re a true barbecue lover, R&R Barbecue is an absolute must. From the moment you walk in, the smoky aroma of slow-cooked meats hits you—in the best way possible. The vibe is relaxed but energetic, with a modern rustic feel that makes it perfect for a casual lunch or a laid-back dinner with friends and family.
The food is the real star here. The brisket is tender, juicy, and full of flavor, with that perfect bark on the outside. The pulled pork melts in your mouth, and the ribs? Fall-off-the-bone perfection with just the right amount of char. Their house-made sauces offer a variety of sweet, smoky, and spicy options to take everything up a notch.
Don’t skip the sides—the mac & cheese is creamy and rich, the baked beans are packed with flavor, and the cornbread? Warm, buttery, and just sweet enough. Even their coleslaw is a standout: fresh, crisp, and not drowning in dressing like most places.
On top of that, the staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. You can tell they care about the food and the people they serve.
Whether you’re a local or just passing through, R&R Barbecue hits every mark. It’s not just a meal—it’s an experience that leaves you full and happy. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates top-tier...
Read moreWe had a company Friendsgiving November 9 and they forgot our macaroni and cheese. We had to wait an extra 15 minutes for them to even get the order done and then we get home to find that there was no mac & cheese. They were nice and they delivered it to our party, but our guests had to wait about 25 minutes for them to get it to us. I thought that I would give them another shot so we Ordered meat for our family Thanksgiving, which we had on Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving. My husband went in on Tuesday and double checked the order and they couldn’t find it but finally the man at the register found it. We ordered a week in advance. Then the day of, my husband called to follow up, but when we got there to pick it up at 4 o’clock, they couldn’t find our order. So our family sat at our house, waiting for them to hurry and put it together. I like this location because it is close to my home, but I am definitely afraid to use it now for catering or take out orders because this is two times in a row where my orders have been messed up. I am giving them a two because the food tasted good, but their service and takeout ordering process is not good even if you give them a week’s notice and follow up. I would eat in but won’t do take out for an event or catering...
