I'll begin by saying that sweet treats aren't always the first thing on my mind. Not that I don't like them, it's just a preference of savory over sweet on the taste buds.
So when we do decide on the occasional rare sweet treat, we are expecting high quality, good flavor, and obviously the enjoyment factor of said treats.
I have heard of Crumbl, but never seen one, let alone eat one. So, clearly today was a mind opening experience.
Yes, these are definitely "sizeable" cookies! wow! I understand there is a rotating selection, so I could see where one would return often for the rotating cast of characters being offered,
That being said we ordered up and service was ok. Obviously not in a rush and they did present a viewing of our packed orders to ensure quality and accuracy. Not exactly the most personable staff, but will blame that on modern society's failure to teach and learn human engagement skills. Social interaction doesn't require a cell phone, just sayin'.
Where was I? Oh yeah, cookies. Wow, these things are in a whole different category of "cookie". Good flavors, abundant toppings, and baked just right (I don't mind a little soft in the center and a little crisp on the edges, gives texture variances.
The Churro is outrageously good, and so was the Peach Cobbler. The Peanut Butter Cup/pie thing is a massive flavor blast to the noggin' Yep, a peanut butter cookie that actually sticks to the roof of your mouth. wow.
The Oatmeal-Chocolate cookie was the only one that had the "meh" factor. Not a bad cookie, just didn't measure up to the others.
Summary: Will we be back? Of course. Will we visit often? For overall health reasons, we will probably save this as a once or twice a year treat. At 750+ calories per cookie, and having no clue what the astronomical fat and sugar contents are, my doctor will appreciate the...
Read moreI haven’t tried the cookies yet, but I went out to get the kardashian cookies this week for my sister because she loves them and I wanted to surprise her. I don’t go to crumbl cookies on the regular and after this visit honestly unless these cookies taste magically don’t think I’ll be back again because the staff is ridiculous. I feel bad leaving a review because I mostly only leave good reviews. However the girls were snickering and seemed annoyed that I even walked in one girl was begging the other to take my order because she didn’t want to then finally did, but the credit card thing didn’t work no big deal. I did my order on the other screen myself and still left a tip even though I felt I was a bother. Then when my order came out they put it in the normal box and I asked if they had the kardashian one and they said well we are running out and got me one. I put the cookies in the new box myself and then see a whole stack of the kardashian boxes. Honestly the girls are probably great outside of work and really nice but it’s very evident they don’t care and don’t wanna be working here and it makes for...
Read moreThis was my first and last time going to Crumbl Cookie! Since they opened in 2017, I always wanted to see what all the rave was all about, only to be disappointed. No one greeted me so, no customer service, it took 25 munutes for me to get 6 cookies and a cup cake, and when I finally got the cookies, the box looked like someone had just pulled it out of the trash barrel because it was full of fingerprints and frosting! (I probably could have ran the persons fingerprints and ran a background check. Lol). The store needed a good cleaning, including the lobby and tables. The taste of cookies were not too bad, they had a good aesthetic look but, they were a bit expensive for a 1/2 dozen mini cookies and a cup cake. I tried to reach out to the store manager but, was directed to email her by an employee. Now I know where the staff gets their customer service skills from. If you are paying for pricey cookies you should get quality service. Needless to say, I will never be visting crumbl cookie again. These are taste and desires that are not...
