Riverview's Pizza Place — Restaurant in Riverview

Have been ordering every Thursday or Friday for about 6 months. Great pizza fast delivery, always the same delivery driver( great girl) I live about a half mile from them but I do not drive so always have them deliver. Last Friday I ordered as usual and when giving my card # was asked the security code . I gave it to the lady on the phone and then asked why she was asking me for this when I have never been asked before. She said I'm an owner and they should ask you every time. I said ok I understand but why is this happening now? She proceeds to start screaming at me and then puts an employer on the phone that explains they have a new system and that is policy now. Ok great that is all I need to know why the owner of the company couldn't tell me that without screaming at me is beyond me! I tell her I would like her cancel my order, she tells me too bad its been charged to my card and already made! Yes she charged my card for something I did not receive! Its too bad because I was a loyal customer that loved her pizza, but I will not order from them ever again.....maybe your employees cshould handle your business because the owner is not a...

My son and I picked up food and on the way home looked at the pizzas and they were wrong. So took them back up there my son walked up and a employee came out. My son told him I got the wrong pizzas he said let me see them. My son comes back to the car since all the stuff with covid-19 we were not sure if they wanted the pizzas back or thrown out. He looks at them and takes them back in sits them on the top counter and as we were about to leave another guy walks them to a customer. Yes I’m sure they were the same pizzas. My son ask him you giving them those pizzas and he starts walking to my car yelling why did do something to them? That is when I roll down my window and I tell him no but they were handled by me and you and then you try to give them to a customer. He was very argumentative specially to a teen kid who was just looking out for everyone’s safety at this time. I would have expected a thank you or good looking out as he made the other guy take the pizzas back into the shop. I guess we care more about 1 of their customers than they did. The pizza was very good. I can see why they earned the high rating based on that alone.

However, the cinnamon sticks were an abomination. I opened the box and physically took a step back. Not sure if there was a mistake. They looked like they were supposed to rise, but the center was flat. They tasted like raw-rubbery dough.

I was also thrown off by the pre-packaged icing (tasted synthetic) and the Kraft Italian dressing that came with the salad. They advertise home-made ranch and Greek dressings, so why is the Italian Kraft? I'd go to Roma's next time. Amazing Italian dressing right down the street. Make the menu smaller or raise the price by a couple bucks if that's what it takes to do it right.

I couldn't understand how the pizza was so good but these other items were so poor. The pizza is definitely worth a try but be wary of the rest...
