Location: Popeyes, 51 78 W Blue Heron Blvd, Riviera Beach, FL 33404, United States Store Number: 4549 Date of Visit: July 19, 2023 My visit to Popeyes on July 19, 2023, was an unfortunate experience marred by poor service and lack of accountability. As I entered the store, I noticed that the service was exceptionally slow, with only one seemingly inexperienced employee manning the register, and no other cashiers available to help.
After patiently waiting for more than 15 minutes without any sign of progress on my order, I politely inquired about its status. To my surprise, the associate treated me dismissively, claiming that I had just arrived and hadn't been waiting for more than a minute. This was far from the truth, as I had already been at the store for quite some time without any receipt for my order.
When the store manager, Mr. Desmond, eventually emerged, his attitude was disheartening. He showed no interest in addressing the issue and failed to apologize or take responsibility for the mismanagement. Moreover, when I asked for the store owner's information or upper management contacts, Mr. Desmond refused to provide them, leaving me with no means to escalate my concerns. What added to the frustration was the associate's refusal to acknowledge the mix-up or apologize for the inconvenience caused. It was evident that the staff lacked proper training in handling such situations and lacked empathy towards customers.
Overall, my experience at Popeyes Store Number 4549 was extremely disappointing. I hope the management takes this incident as an opportunity to improve their service and instill a sense of responsibility among their staff. Proper training and accountability are essential to ensure that customers are treated with respect and that their concerns are addressed promptly and...
Read moreAvoid this location at all costs. TLDR; it took us 50 minutes to receive mobile orders that have been prepaid/confirmed and we were still missing items.
We used the app ahead of time and confirmed our orders (I still have screenshots available as well as the receipts for our orders). We told them we had two separate mobile orders to be picked up in one car at the drive-through, and after waiting 10-15 minutes behind several cars in the drive through already, they told us to go inside the dining room because they couldn’t fulfill two separate mobile orders for the same car. It didn’t make sense to us because Taco Bell is always able to accommodate 2 mobile orders for us in the same car, but we walked inside and waited in line anyways for the second time. While inside, we had waited in line for 20 minutes before we were ever approached for assistance. Out of the 7 employees that we saw there, only 1 of them was actually working and the rest were standing around joking and laughing. When we told them that we already had mobile orders confirmed, it took another 30 minutes for them to get us our 2 drinks. We watched 5-6 other customers get in line behind us and receive their orders before we ever got ours. As we were leaving after finally getting our meal, we discovered items missing from our order and this was after already waiting 50 minutes in line for mobile orders that had already been pre-paid/confirmed. Frankly, the lack of customer service at this location was insulting and unacceptable. We had a great experience at the Stuart Popeyes location, but regretted the entire experience at this location. We will never ever be coming back to this...
Read moreI love popeyes food overall but Lord knows I passionately HATE going to the Blue Heron location. The drive thru line is ALWAYS long and move extra slow. I dont understand how food that's already done could take so long to serve 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️ on top of that, the employees have horrible attitudes and aparently hate their job, so Im not sure why they work there if the hate it so much. Why work in customer service if you dont have good customer service skills???? Honestly, its the store manager to blame because....why and how are you choosing the people to hire? I honestly barely see a familiar face at this location so obviously management is continuously choosing the wrong people. This one girl with burgundy and black locs(Teresa), is extremely depressed, doesn't smile, no expression at all, like she need some true happiness in her life. Not to mention, every piece of chicken she sell, it comes out of her little paycheck so be sure not to order too much, otherwise she doesn't get a paycheck. I do understand that people in the neighborhood need jobs as well but sheesh smh. This place is a joke as far as customer service goes. Popeyes on Blue Heron does NOT care about making the customer happy at all. If you could avoid it, I'd recommend a different location all jokes aside, GO ELSEWHERE!
To give a better idea of the drive thru wait time, I wrote this entire review while waiting in line....not to mention, i still had extra time on my hand before actually began to...
