Not sure what happened today but this was my 3rd time and now my last time supporting this establishment. I've lived here all my life, ate here when it was sub king, frequent the pawn shop, La Granja and enjoy the Acai bowls here at Smoothie Me Please. I've been treated with respect and always given a good product. Today on July 2, 2021 at around 2PM all that changed. I ordered the same bowl I always order and asked for no Coconut flakes as usual with no issues, today that became a problem, I was greeted with a less then inviting personality to the point I felt my order was not wanted and when i asked for no coconut flakes on the Monroe Acai bowl, the door was slammed in my face and said I'll be right back with no additional answer. On her return, she pointed to other bowls but i just wanted the bowl i requested, she seemed very angry at me regarding my order and really not sure why. She explained to me what an ACAI bowl is for whatever reason as this would be my third order and I told her I understand what an ACAI bowl is, thats what I'd like to order, the Monroe specifically without coconut flakes. Still angry of something I must've said or did, she gave me the price, I paid and the door was shut again pretty hard. I step aside next customer orders hot food as did the third. 10 minutes later a order is called and it was not mine, I did not hear her call it out well due to the sirens, so I asked if that was the monroe, she looked at me extremely angry and said no slammed the window again. finally a few minutes after a cooked order I receive my call, pickup my food, thanked her and before I was able to ask what I did wrong or said that made her so angry with me today, she slammed the door in my face with no reply. The other 2 patrons were greeting well. I'm a long term resident and business owner here in Riviera Beach since 2004, I respect where I live and the businesses that provide me the products I need with service that reflects appreciation that we are there to spend our money in their establishment. In business it's more about service than anything else, we all have to feel good about going there to invest in their idea to service the public with what they believe is the best products to offer. I believe they have those products! I love their products, I loved their service but today I was treated inappropriately, pushed aside and given a terrible product from terrible customer service from an employed associate and hopefully not the owner. After waiting on hot meals ordered after me and receiving my açaà bowl, it's now missing half the ingrediants and served to me like soup. I hope something is done to change their hiring and customer service training policies because this will happen again to someone else. One bad employee can wreck havoc on the longevity of any business, trust me, I had a bad seed once. I'm sorry to write this, but I'm a strong supporter of local business here in Riviera Beach, I was excited for this one as it fits my direct dietary needs and it's within walking distance to both my home and my business, even better! But this feeling lacks to exist after today. I hope there is change, I may check again, but if the same person is representing Smoothie Me Please at that takeout window, then I just might have to skip it. I included pictures of the soupy mess missing ingredients such as; the peanut butter, black berries and served warm. I chose not to eat it based on the how I was treated at the window, lord knows what else was done to it. Very disappointed in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCan you say FRESH is best?! Well you dont have to say that at this cute little gem. SMOOTHIE ME PLEASE is my family's new go to for amazing sandwiches, acai bowls and of course...SMOOTHIES. Stumbled upon this vibrantly colored building on US1 just north of Blue Heron Blvd. in Riviera Beach, about 3 months ago. Couldn't wait to give it a try. Now being an avid eater of places like 3 Natives, and Smoothie King, etc. I was well versed in the options available at SMOOTHIE ME PLEASE.
The black owned breakfast/lunch spot is run by Ms. Ashley a very pleasant sister who gave me service with a smile and engaged in a lovely bantor about their very cleverly named menu items. There is a story there, but you have to visit to hear itš.
Situated in a diagonal corner lot facing US1 across from La Granja Express. SMOOTHIE ME PLEASE is a bold and cheerfully colored orange, pink, and purple trimmed walk-up window, that use to be an ice cream shop. I must say this replacement is a much better fit for this space and brings loads of charm to boot. Upon my 1st visit I had an S. Ave bowl. Let me just say DELICIOUS. Every ingredient tasted like it was hand-picked just for my bowl. The combination of banana, kiwi, blueberries, granola, avocado/yogurt base, and coconut gave me everything I was looking for in a nutritious, flavorful meal. My daughter enjoyed the lunch special with an amazing turkey club sandwich and Firehouse smoothie. Equally as delicious.
SMOOTHIE ME PLEASE easily rivals the likes of 3 Natives and those like it. Please give it a try when you are in the mood for something good and good for you. YOU WON'T BE...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreA coworker of mine introduced me to this place. The first thing that I ever had was the Acai bowl and it was awesome! I was highly impressed with how delicious the bowl was. The second thing that I purchased was the Ivy Green smoothie and it was just as good. I like how although there was only one person running the place, she was still efficient. I had two people ahead of me who had already ordered, and one at the register in the process of ordering, and I was on my way in about 5 minutes. I definitely recommend this place, especially to those who don't want to drive miles and miles to another smoothie shop without compromising quality and...
