The Badie Seafood and Grill — Restaurant in Riviera Beach

Saw the sign for seafood, check the reviews and they were encouraging. thought I'd give them a try but with something easy like a cheeseburger. the place was empty when i went and it was lunch time so that was a cause of concern. I place my order and the cashier was wear the plastic gloves which I thought if she touches this register, takes my money with them on and goes back there to prep food. I'm DONE! I stayed after placing my order to guarantee that she was going to discard the contaminated gloves(which she did). The phone rang constantly-so maybe that's why the place was empty-phone orders. A few people came in while I was there but nothing to the volume of a lunch rush. I got my meal and it was JUST OK. The patty was homemade and seasoned, the fries were fries. The bread was too much for me but at least the burger was the size of the bun. Overall this is not my lunch spot but i had to give them a try. The cost of the burger & fries were too much...

I called my order in ahead of time for the Trio (Look it up in there menu) not a big fan of eggs with my seafood so I asked if they could be substituted for other things like potatoes and sausage. The gentleman on the phone was more then polite and very accommodating. I was told it would take twenty minutes, so I took my time. Toward getting closer to the twenty minute mark, I received a call back to confirm I was nearby to make sure the food would still be piping hot when I was there to pick up the order. I arrived and was politely greeted by the young man at the counter and I was also extremely impressed that a takeout place had better manners and social skills then some of the larger restaurants in the area. Usually really good, I recently went on a work break there and got the special 4wings and fries. Last minute the gentlemen told me he was out the flavor I requested he replied he put bbq I'm not a fan of bbq, but to get to the point the bbq was washed off the chicken with water instead of making it over because he decided to put a flovor I didn't request they were 2 wings and fries were so thick hard raw nasty and brown oil all over them. I didn't make a big deal about it and just threw it away and paid for another lunch some where else. I suggest they get a better cook at location i won't knock Badie cuz there usually really good.
