Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Roanoke Rapids

Well we tried to have a nice date night here and it did not go well at all! First of all Ashley is extremely rude and refused to do anything for us. We were sitting there at the bar patiently waiting when she came up and my boyfriend tried to ask her a question and she quickly responded with a BAD ATTITUDE saying "the bartender will get yall in a minute" then she proceeded to make about 4 or 5 drinks for other customers without even offering us some water while we waited for the other bartender to come back (took almost 20 mins to get drinks) we ordered an appetizer when we ordered our water and drinks. Then ordered our meal (wings and a side of fries for each of us) we got the wings. The fries never came out with our meal and neither did our app. We asked multiple times why we didn't get our app because we asked to get that before our meal. I asked where our fries were and they finally brought them out about 30 minutes after we got our wings! Still no appetizer!!! So my boyfriend asks them to just make our nachos to go! At this point we still haven't had a glass of water. Had to ask about 3 or 4 times and it was about an hour into our visit before we got water. Not to mention there was a HAIR embedded in one of his wings so deep he couldn't even pull it out 🤮 when we got our check it was ALL screwed up and we had been charged for 1 too many drinks and double charged for the fries. I had to get the manager to fix it. I understand people make mistakes, things happen. But this is ridiculous. Way too many screw ups for one visit!!! I went December 15th and 8th at Applebee'sthey were packed that night I ordered chicken quesadillas with pico de gallo and garlic mashed potatoes I also ordered spinach dip and chips my quesadillas had food from someone else's plate they were old and nasty I know this because there was a sad stuck to two of my quesadillas that I did not order that have been laying in juice from someone else's plate I also have a good friend that ate there two weekends ago from today and she had bread and her spinach dip bitten off bread I have been told there are roaches in the back half of the staff that work there on December 15th such as bartender and two waitresses I saw by cocaine and pain pills from people that came in to eat for their bill I have names and box me and can tell you it is disgusting watch what you eat pay attention to the waitress the manager is aware of what's going on says that he or she will handle it whoever is in charge at the time nothing is ever done about it so I refuse to eat there anymore as far as the roaches I've been told I have not seen but I have been told by three different workers there is roach spray in the back underneath one of the tables like a bar area that they cook on that there are roaches all back there because they are not clean they are nasty so beware beware beware beware if you like drama drugs and nastiness and rude waitresses that are high this is the place for you if you are looking for a restaurant to take your family for a good meal and good time maybe you should try Logan's next door or even Texas because Applebee's has really went downhill in the...

ordered a pick up and told the bartender that I would come inside instead of her having to deliver to my car. As soon as I walked in the smell was like something someone poured dirty grease on the carpet. After waiting for over an hour for 2 salads and fish with fries I got my order. They weren't busy except for the bartender who had to go in the back to restock her own bar, waiting on her own customers,making drinks for the servers and trying to get carry outside done. I asked for the manager and told her my observations (I've been in business on food service since I was 15), a out how a couple across from was here before me and still waiting on their carry out which only part of there order was done after she comped there food. Plus the car in their new pick up parking lot has been waiting about as long as I have. She told me she was filling in for a other manager and two people called. I don't want to hear excuses!! Over staff the shift! Send them home after the busy time. Get a bus person to clean tables and handle the carryout orders, they can still be rung up at the bartender's register. She did not pick up my tab, like the other couple's but gave me a $20.00 card to use there. That didn't even cover what I spent there that day and why would I want to come back after being there twice since we moved here?! I worked for Applebees putting myself through college as a bartender/server. So I know how it's supposed to run.
