I am sad that I have to write this. This location should close for one to two weeks. The purpose is for training the entire staff. We arrived to this dead atmosphere. The parking lot needs to be repaved. It is dinner time at "Ruby Tuesdays" in "NC" and there are only a few cars in The parking lot. That should have been hint #1. I walk inside and I was the first to say good evening to the host. Realllly??? One should be welcomed into your eatery. That should have been hint #2. I informed her that I needed a table for 4. She said it would be a 20 minute wait. There were two parties already waiting a very long time to be seated before us. Hint #4. The restaurant was practically empty. Why was the wait soo long. One of the parties complained how they hated that location and walked out. Hint #5 (money loss). The other party was brought in and seated. A couple walked in 30 minutes into our wait and was seated immediately before US. The hostess forgot about us AND we were standing right there in their faces. Whose faces??? The hostess and the manager. They were having a non-work related conversation. Hint #6. (That is called ignorance. Money loss). I walked out with the expectations of going across the street to greassssseeeee Popeyes and my wife talked me back in to this devil's pit. Stupid me. After being seated, we were given a sweeeet, but un-fully trained waitress named Zion. I give "only" her 10 stars. She struggled with multiple tables while the manager and her sorry self along with the hostess remained in a deep un-work related conversation. Zion took our drink orders. I added my appetizer order which was $10.99 for 8 mini sized Wings, bourbon Style. It was served in a 4 inch wide skillet. I ordered a seltzer with a hint of cranberry juice. I was charged for not one drink, but for the two drinks (seltzer and cranberry juice) that barely filled my cup. Sad thing. I did not know this until I got my check. I blame the manager, not Zion. I should have been informed about the charges. The manager should have been training her. Although the wings tasted great, the charge should have been $5.99. My daughter ordered chicken tenders with pasta. Her meal was over priced and her plate was a child sized plate. She is 19 and was robbed. Zion could not have known this. She is a new employee. The manger should have been there. My wife ordered a salmon meal that was priced more than #13.. My grown lady received a child's plate. Reallly??? My youngest daughter ordered a large sized grilled chicken ceasar salad. It too was small. It too did not match the price. She asked the waitress for more parmesan cheese. The waitress did not know what is was. The manager should sit on a daily basis with the waiters and waitresses informing them about what's on the menu. Again it was not Zions fault. It was the magners fault. I ordered a chicken dinner which was delicious. Problem,,, it was plated with a small amount of broccoli, mashed potatoes, and two pieces of chicken. Although it was good, I still struggle a day later with the cost. Would you believe that our meals along with the drinks and appetizer costed more than $70? Welp. Yuppo. We paid it and we gave Zion a nice tip because she reallly deserved it. This message is for the owner. Ruby Tuesdays is/was one of my favorite restaurants. Please please please close down your restaurant for at least two weeks, hire and train new management, cooks, and keep Zion. You all need her there. With a little more training, she will be your new management. How do you as a manager stand around watching knowing that your waitress is stuggling without the intent of helping her. No one is receiving their meals. That should have been the big indicator right there. I will never ever go back again. I would like to end by saying thank Ruby Tuesdays for ruining it for me. Ohhh and do an upgrade on...
Read moreNever ever will I return again. Upon entering there was a woman in plain clothes no uniform tending to the salad bar. I presumed she was the manager and would put down what she was doing to seat us since there was no hostess in sight. Not only did she not seat us she completely ignored us and kept on fooling around with the salad bar. Then about 4 or 5 minutes later when a server came out of the kitchen she asked them to seat us. I asked her why she couldnt have done it let alone greet us and let us know someone would be with is shortly. She immediately got an attitude and said she couldnt seat us because she would have to stop what she was doing go wash her hands and come back to do so.. I said so ignore us completely was your choice? She then stomps over to the hostess area and with an attitude said fine I'll do it.. she took us to a booth and sat us. Then I was at the salad bar which is what I came for and all the salad was Brown and wilted. I said to the person I was with why did she ignore us to to anything at this salad bar when the salad is brown and wilted. She must've heard me because she immediately interjected aggressively asking what the problem was now.. .. after all that we order and are waiting and all of a sudden she sits a woman who looks just like her by herself at a 6 top table immediately next to us even tho there were several smaller tables nearby. They proceed to talk about me like I'm not sitting here listening to her tell how I'm being difficult etc... clearly the staff know this person as well because they all had time to talk and converse with the person. We wait an entire hour for an appetizer and a burger to come out and the manager herself walked it out but failed to realize they overcooked the food and all the mozzarella was on the plate and not in the stick. When I told the server she tried her best to apologize and be helpful but I really waited an hour for something that takes no longer than 5 minutes in the fryer to cook. There werent very many people in the establishment only maybe a dozen or so if that. When we went to leave that same manager was outside the Togo door in the front smoking a cigarette with the customer she sat the table directly next to me to try to intimidate me. And I understand managers dress differently but not like they're going to the laundromat or 711. her clothing choice were bell bottoms and a janky looking tshirt shirt that didnt match was stretched out and looked disheveled. Completely unprofessional and not a...
Read moreWe stopped here while making our way through on 95. We were starving and the parking lot was empty. Should have been a red flag but we thought we would get quick service. We went in and stood there for over 5 minutes while the place was pretty much empty. Several staff members walked by us multiple times. We were finally seated and the server seemed like she didn't want to be there. We dismissed that because who wants to be at work anyways? We heard obnoxious arguing from the kitchen and the staff was all congregated and hanging out in the corner by the bar. Food took forever to come out and it sucked when it did. Water was also extremely delayed in arriving. Took even longer to get our check. There was a heavier set lady that worked there that came out of the kitchen making loud comments to the people in the kitchen that were really unprofessional. It was just all around a bad experience. Pretty sure I heard some other diners making comments that sounded disgruntled as they were leaving. I didn't even want to tip but it seemed like our server was the only one actually "working" and even then it didn't look like she was struggling by any means. It was super slow. She never came by to check on us but she had time to go hang out with her coworkers. We left a tip because I get that food service sucks. Nobody wants to work. Guests shouldn't feel like they're a burden. If it's that slow you should be doing your best to service the hell out of people to bring in more business and line your own pockets. That parking lot was empty for a reason. Hopefully the management sees this and gets control over the staff. It was like it was being run by teenagers with...
