Stay away from this one...
Waited 10 minutes just for a waitress to bring a Menu because it takes 5 people to figure out how to setup reserved tables for people who were coming in an hour. Then after we place our order we wait 30 minutes to have them bring our pizza that was missing the ingredients my 5yo daughter wanted. They took pizza back to kitchen and throw it back in oven and we had enough by that point. My wife got a cheese steak and fries and half of that was gone before the pizza even arrived if that helps to understand how slow they are. Then we were asked if we wanted to take pizza home...if we paid for it. I guess waitress doesn't understand what it means when someone says they are sick of waiting and won't tolerate waiting any longer after they screwed up. The stinger to this story was someone came in 15 minutes after we did and got chicken wings and a pizza at least 15 minutes before we saw my wife's sandwich.
We paid for our drinks and wife's sandwich and when I checked over the bill she tried to charge me full price for a child drink...we never got any refills or contact Between ordering and the pizza coming first time. No one offered an apology or discount for the wait or screw up.
Cashier just gave us stink eye as if we were doing something wrong after a 30minute wait and their mistake. Worst hour and $15 spent. Customer service is lacking, speed In the pizza department is non existent, and no management on hand to deal with situations like this and to iron out the problem and see if they could resolve...
Read morePino's Pizza with a passively aggressive staff where the owner had to beg his staff to take my order--is a dud. I don't remember being greeted with a hello..... They just stood there as I entered. I eventually got an order in; left to cover the 20-minute wait on my order. Returned to further "PA" behavior. I asked for my order but was told to go stand in an imaginary line. When the others got their orders (no food or money exchanged 🤔), I stood there while they kept ignoring me until they ultimately gave me my pizzas. I asked for pepper and parmesan packs which took another 5-10 minutes. Took the packs from the waitress (whose hands were shaking--don't know why), and I just left. I won't be back. My kids did not like the pizza. It gave me a nostalgic feel of NY pizza, but the crust was not well made and a bit hard. It is difficult paying so much money for food that disappointed, as well as the service by strangely/poorly dressed passive aggressive individuals. They can "work on" the crust, and have the staff wear uniforms--maybe even reduce staff or retrain them in what is termed...

Eating in the food is always going to be hot & fresh. Always..
However, the vinaigrette they give you at the table has a HUGE cut on the tip of the bottle, and you have to shake it up in order to use it because its vinigar & oil so.... you guessed it... a finger would have to go ON TOP of the bottle in order to shake it up to use it... who knows how many fingers have been on that and germs inside that bottle... no thanks on that one🤢
Besides that...
Taste is okay it's not at all the best of the best Italian restaurant I've been to, but it's okay for the location it is at....
Eating in isn't an experience at all🫥 You basically can just walk in and seat yourself. They will check to see who came in and will get you when possible.
Waiters will do their best to check in on you, but its never consistent.. probably because its usually an order to go type of place, so i dont fault them..
Overall ill give it a 1 🌟 it could've been better but.. its Roanoke...
