This restaurant is horrible! I’m driving thru the state and wanted to show my gf what the hype about Zaxbys is because she never had it and needless to say it was a mess! First off the cars are wrapped around the building and not moving so we went inside… the lobby was packed with ppl some complaining about how long they are waiting for their food! I assumed it was maybe because zaxbys is always amazing but I was wrong! Went in the bathroom to wash my hands and the soap dispenser is on the counter broken so you literally have to pick it up and manipulate it in order to use it! The trash was over flowing! All over the floor! I went back out and my gf had already ordered our food and was holding the cups and let me know they HAVE NO ICE! So I went to discuss with the cashier about us paying for a full meal and can’t get a cold drink and he apologized and said he has some ice in the back 🙄 I asked him where the manager was he called her “EDITH” who was in the back making the food…. Keep in mind there are about 7 or 8 employees there some just standing around talking or walking around trying to look busy! When he told her I wanted her she continued to make food and did not come out! The dining room was a mess trash every where and filthy just nasty I am not exaggerating and from the looks of the other reviews from a week, a day and even A MONTH ago… this has BEEN an issue and nothing is being done! Back to my order… I overheard the cashier tell someone the grill isn’t working so I asked “what do you use the grill for and is there another way to prepare what needs to be grilled” he states no there isn’t and we would just give you white bread for the toast…… he was actually nice and sweet and stated I can try to grill it for you and see if it works if I leave it on longer… he goes to the back to attempt…. as I am waiting for my food I see the cook (whoever is dropping the chicken) use his blue gloves but was VISIBLY BLACK AND GREASY on the palms grab chicken out a bag, drop it in the grease, go to the fridge touch it with those same gloves and pulled something out… he then proceeds to flip his dreads with those SAME GLOVES ON and pull down the front of his hat (ALL OF THIS DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF EDITH) and walk to a bag of bread grab out two buns and hand it to EDITH to prepare someone’s food! And that was my last straw… I asked to speak to the manager immediately for a refund… when the cashier once again told her a customer needed her and is requesting a refund she gave him her code and he processed himself… she not once came from behind the counter to apologize… address anything and from what it looks like she has no control over anyone working there… no structure no order… she does not need to be the manager there…. She didn’t say two words to me or anyone else for ANY of the inconveniences we all were experiencing!! I got my refund and called corporate… get this… THIS IS A CORPORATE STORE!! How??? Its a horrible representation of a corporate store! And not to make it about color but as a black woman seeing all of the black employees which every person working there was black except EDITH….its very sad to see…. This is why ppl look down on us like this…. Like do better… They just looked like they were chilling no sense of urgency for what was going on! It was enough employees there where someone can make sure to check the bathrooms hourly… someone can do the dining room etc… offer free pies to ppl for the inconvenience or something NOTHING… just looks like a bunch of high schoolers doing what they want…. It’s embarrassing and simply nasty… this store should be closed down… fire everyone that is working there on today except the guy who was willing to try to help as much as he could but he was helpless smh….and get a new team in there willing to work and give that store better rating, better service and just a complete change! I DO NOT recommend ppl eat here…....

I tried to enter this location, but the doors were locked. The lights were on though, so I called. The young woman on the phone informed me of the situation so I figured I'd do an online order, and signed in online at the parking location I was at, then the app said it would be delivered shortly. After waiting over twenty minutes I called and asked what the status of my order was and she gave me an attitude about being the only cashier there today, and said she didn't get a call about my arrival. I explained that I signed in and ordered online just like she suggested, and it said I was good to go, but just to reiterate, I'm at spot so and so and I'm in this vehicle. She hung up and the food was out to me shortly thereafter.
Long story short I just wanted some fast chicken and I got a new app, a new account with another company that has my email and phone number, and some soggy food after 45 minutes, plus an attitude from someone that I was extremely patient with considering I've worked in the industry before.
I will not go back to this location, and it makes me look at all "Zaxby's" a little differently.
The total order was $13.08, the wings and tenders were ordered to be tossed in sauce but there wasn't much. And the fries were also ordered with extra seasoning, I don't think I got that. I also picked one Zaxby's sauce and one ranch and got two ranches. Normally none of that would matter and I'd be happy with any hot food at all, but I'm just pointing out my experience. And we placed our online order at 4:00pm it said our online order would be ready at 4:10pm we called as soon as we pulled in the parking lot to let someone know that we where outside the young lady that picked up the phone the first time told us that our order would be right out we waited for 10 more mins we called again to let someone know we where outside to pickup our online order and also we are parked in #2 parking space in front of the drive through window. Someone picked up the phone but would not say anything we called back again someone picked up this time and said that she was sorry for the wait and they are short staff we also told her where we were parked and she said that she was making our food now it has almost been a hour we place our order at 4:00pm online it said our order would be ready at 4:10pm it is 4:48pm and we just got our food i will never come here again the food was nasty and cold my husband order a 30 piece boneless wing family meal and he did not get 30 pieces my food and daughter food was cold and nasty i will be getting a refund for this meal we spent $54.25 i will be calling corporate office tomorrow we travel back home to north carolina for Thanksgiving and wanted to get zaxby's before heading back to Boston Massachusetts because there are no zaxby's in that location but this was a total disappointment and a waste of...
