Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Roanoke Rapids

I work in the area once a week and stop by for lunch. I was in a hurry, so I got it to go through the drive-through when I was informed that I need to pull up and wait until my hot fries finished. I did so I waited for approximately six or seven minutes. My food was brought to me. I proceeded to head south on 95 for about 10 or 15 minutes when I was able to begin to eat my food I realize that I had no fries. I called and spoke to one of the staff, and they informed me that they would gladly replace my meal for the inconvenience and that my name would be placed on the managers list and that next week I would be able to have my meal replaced on them today I go back to do just that and was informed by one of the staff members that they were under new management and that I needed to bring my receipt And that without my receipt, they can’t do nothing. They didn’t even check to see if my name was on the managers list, I’m so glad because I realize that they’re subpar sanitation grade of 90 really may be a blessing in disguise no fries no meal no problem. I just will no longer be supporting this location ever again. Terrible service for someone who spent $15 on a meal and did not receive their fries and the lies that were told by staff members who just didn’t want to deal...

I was pleasantly surprised at the quick service here. Most fast food restaurants are anything but fast these days! I'd never tried thier infamous chicken sandwich so I decided it was time to see what all the hype was about a few years back. It didn't look like anything special when I got it so my expectations were low. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it tasted though. I was asking myself is this really the best chicken sandwich I've ever eaten.... The answer was no, BUT it was the best tasting fast food chicken sandwich I've ever had. It was crunchy on the outside and moist and flavorful inside. I have to admit I didn't expect to like it as much as I did. The mashed potatoes were good... Probably average but good. Mac n cheese was above average and best from fast food. The drink machine was calibrated right which seems to be an issue at allot of fast food places these days. They don't seem to be having them calibrated and the drinks don't taste right. Staff was friendly which is also above average these days at fast food places. I couldn't think on anything that disappointed me in my visit. Great job...

While placing our order on 3-22-2018, I witnessed the Cook, Kerria who was operating WITHOUT GLOVES, remove a pan from the front line, turn it over into the trash can to remove crumbs from it and then proceeds to pour FRESHLY COOKED SHRIMP INTO THE SAME PAN SHE HAD PREVIOUSLY BANGED INTO THE TRASH. I warned the cashiers of what I juat witnessed, she goes into the backline area (without removing the pan off the front line) and takes Kerria to the back to discuss my compliant. I stood in disbelief when she DIDN'T REMOVE the contaminated container from the front line, which Allowed other CUSTOMERS to be severed from the tainted pan of shrimp ( 2 in which were my co-workers). I asked to speak to Management and Mike Patterson came to assist me. Upon hearing my compliant he removed the pan of shrimp which by now HAS CONTAMINATED WHOLE LINE OF COOKED PRODUCTS.. I was so disgusted I asked for another manager and Kenya was very helpful giving me phone and store number she neither removed the anything from the bar..

I'm very disappointed with my experience here today.....
