I came for a late lunch and was sorely disappointed. The price of the food does not match its quality which baffles me. I’ve read so many reviews of others bragging that their experience, food and price especially, was top tier. I ordered the calamari which I feel was not an appropriate amount for the portion. I ordered the Dark Samurai for my entree which was not good. The rice was over cooked, the unagi was over seasoned and the pile of fried onions just took the salt content over the top. I ate three bites trying to give it a chance but could not stomach anymore. I decided to order a Poke bowl and they served a sad amount of tuna on a huge bed of spring greens… that’s not a Poke bowl. In my opinion, it should naturally be served with sushi rice and spring greens should be offered as a substitution. I was sorely disappointed but I think there room for improvement. The menu needs to be refined and a quality test needs to be done so that consistency becomes muscle memory. Some combinations don’t work and maybe should be discontinued. Just my two cents. Service on the other hand was okay.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Foster's Sushi, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a perfect balance of modern elegance and traditional Japanese charm. The true star of the show, however, was the sushi. The sushi chef is a true artist, and it shows in every bite. The fish was incredibly fresh, and the balance of flavors was simply perfection. I especially loved the nigiri—each piece was so delicately prepared that it practically melted in my mouth. The specialty rolls were equally impressive, with unique combinations that perfectly blended traditional flavors with a modern twist. Whether you're a sushi enthusiast or new to Japanese cuisine, Foster's Sushi delivers an exceptional dining experience that will leave you coming back for more. The attention to detail, the quality of ingredients, and the creativity of the dishes make it a top choice for anyone looking to indulge in authentic sushi. Highly recommended!

If you’re looking for some delicious and fresh food, Foster’s is the place to go! My mom and I first went on the Fourth of July. We sampled several items on the menu and were not disappointed! From the edamame to the sushi rolls, our tastebuds were definitely taken on an adventure. Additionally, the atmosphere was fabulous! The restaurant has an upscale small town vibe that truly shows why Roanoke is the “Unique Dining Capital of Texas”. It’s a place that you’ll definitely want to take your out of town visitors— or to just have a nice meal yourself. :) The staff were incredibly friendly and personable. Our server was polite and “on top of it” when it came to refilling drinks or making sure that we didn’t need anything. She was absolutely precious! All I’ve got to say is, “Go try it for yourself.” Even if you’re not a sushi fan, their menu is expansive and full of delicious options. :) *I highly recommend the Ahi Tuna Tower (pictured below).*

Worst restaurant experience I have ever had. I understand this place is new but our problems weren't from it being new. There were four people at the bar and a few tables occupied. So not at all full.

I noticed when we sat down the owner was sitting at a table next to us eating. She had on an apron and was helping servers and going into the kitchen.

All bar drinks took over 20 minutes to receive each time we ordered a round. We ordered an ahi tuna appetizer and 3 rolls. Our two kids ordered kids meals.

The server had to come ask us to clarify our order (including our kids) and had to look through the menus that she left at our table. Our ahi tower came and we did enjoy that. As were were finishing it the owner came over and said "did you like the tower? That was not for your table but you ate it. You didn't order a tower". We then informed her we had ordered a tower and her wait staff brought it to us. She then said "oh then it is ok". What owner tells a customer they ate another tables food when THEIR wait staff delivered it to us and we had ordered it! Extremely RUDE.

Both kids meals were so salty they barely ate them. We were waiting on our 3 rolls to come out when our waitress asked if we wanted to dessert then brought us our bill! We asked "were you going to bring our rolls or no?" She said "oh i am sorry". No offer to fix it or make the rolls. Just "oh well sorry".

We paid for the food and drinks and left. We didn't want to spend another minute waiting for anything else or any more money. As we walked out a few guys were standing out front and must have seen the disappointment on our faces. They said "bad for yall too? Our wives are in there eating but we left and are out here because they just forgot our food. Only brought half of it."

Do not go here. Over priced. Terrible service and you will be lucky if you get half of what...

Utterly unprofessional. The server did not repeat orders, barely checked on my table, and when I told I didn’t order something but I was told to pay for something I didn’t order or get in the first place. The owner came out to my table and yelled at me to pay for it even though there was clear evidence I didn’t order. She yelled and said it was my fault for not paying attention instead of accommodating anything for a customer nor gave any sort of kindness to one. I was embarrassed in front of the whole restaurant with how loud she was to me and borderline physically hitting to me. I was a customer greeted with rudeness and gaslighting, and no sympathy for any customer, instead I was feeling forced to pay for something that was treated as my fault. It is a shame really, I enjoyed this place until such unprofessional ways of dealing with this situation. I was forced to pay a hefty price for something I didn’t want, felt like a scam if you ask me. They had also yelled at a friend I happened to bring along with me for a good experience at a new place, she had nothing to do with my order yet she was just as rudely approached just the same with dishonorable rudeness any service should never give. If this is how they think they can treat paying customers, then they shouldn’t even be given the kindness of going. Never...
