My step daughter found Roanoke Florist for her wedding after the Florist she contacted before did a terrible job on her sample bouquet...the sampleshe received feom Roanoke Florist was absolutely georgeous. She contacted Roanoke Florist for her wedding. We attended her wedding and the florals we absolutely stunning. My daughter who was also getting married contacted Roanoke to do her florals. for her wedding as well. Alrhough it was much smaller than my step daughter s wedding as she was on a budget..she wanted to order corsages for the Mother's, Father's and the Groomsmen's boutineers. She also wanted to order her bridal bouquet, maid of honor bouquet and a floral arrangement for the sweetheart table Someone delivered the flowers on Friday evening. Which we had guests in for the rehearsal dinner that evening so they went unnoticed. No one checked in with us to let us know that the flowers had even been delivered. When we discovered the flowers which were left outside ( thankfully it was a cool evening) She paid almost 900.00 for her order. Not much considering what most brides pay but it was certainly alot of money for her. What we did received was less than...I literally had to dismantle her bouquet as it was very sparsely done and the flowers we almost dead. I did the best I could with what we had...However, the more I tried to reconstruct the arrangement the more upset I became. We have a wedding venue and we needed everything to be beautiful. When I called Courtney and I let her know that I was completely dissatisfied with what we received. She quickly offered a refund ..However, we did not want a refund we want flowers that we had ordered to be right. She said that if I wanted her to she would gather up some flowers that she had in her shop and head our way. Not the flowers that we wanted but we needed somethingto be done. Which she did do. I appreciate that fact that she came right over and added more flowers to the bouquet and the arrangement for the bridal table. It did look much better when she was done. Not ar all what we had expected feom the pictures we swnt. I am not sure what happened or if she relied on someone else to complete the order but we were extremely disappointed. Roanoke Florist provided an unforgettable experience for us, especially for Mitch, who lost a bet and had to dress up as a blushing bride. The staff at Roanoke Florist were fantastic and made sure to make the situation as hilariously humiliating as possible for Mitch.

Seeing Mitch, a bearded man, dressed in a full bridal gown with a long train, veil, and bouquet was absolutely ridiculous and side-splittingly funny. The staff were incredible sports, posing for pictures with Mitch, and making sure he stood outside, waving to traffic and posing for even more photos. They really leaned into the spirit of the bet, laughing along with us and ensuring Mitch was the center of attention.

The entire experience was delightfully mortifying for Mitch, and the flowers were absolutely stunning! If you're looking for a florist that not only provides beautiful arrangements but also engages in fun, memorable, and slightly embarrassing experiences, Roanoke Florist is the place to go. I ordered a floral arrangement on a Monday for deliver on Tuesday but early afternoon on Tuesday I received a call stating they did not have the flowers I requested and would substitutions be okay. I agreed but later that afternoon, their door dash delivery person picked up the arrangement and unassigned themself and kept the flower arrangement for themself. My arrangement recipient, who was recovering from surgery, received emails and a phone call stating the arrangement had arrived but it had not. I would have thought that when they realized what had happened, they would have bent over backwards to make sure the arrangement was delivered but instead I had to call this morning to cancel and get a refund. This turned from a gift into a hassle for someone who didn’t need it at this time. If they trust door dash to deliver their delicate floral arrangements, I won’t use them again. Very disappointed in their lack of effort in making sure my arrangement was delivered on time. Will never use again.
