Arrived at 725 for a 730 special flight dinner. Was informed that a table was not ready for our party of three We then went to the bar for cocktails while our table was being cleaned. At 850 pm we were told that a 3 top table was STILL not ready. They had a 6 top table that would be converted to a three top. At this point 85 minutes past our RESERVATION we were starved and said yes. Server took our order. Made it easy. We will have one of each three options as we would share/ taste. Server poured a two once taste of wine. I requested as we are 85 minutes past or RESERVATION could she possibly pour our wine glass full. I was informed, no he will be mad at me. I asked to see who this “he” is. Out comes this person in a baseball cap. I cannot pour you full glasses. I would charge you. I said absolutely not. I said that because of our lateness of being seated as a courtesy please fill our wine glasses. I was told no. The baseball cap guy knows nothing/zero in regards to customer service! He could have made this right with one simple apology! We left. Will NEVER go back and have told all of our friends not to go either !!!!!! ...

The inside is beautiful, while the patio and lawn are inviting and lovely. The food is simply phenomenal. The steam baked oysters were a revelation to me, a wonderful alternative to the typical raw serving (they have those too). The BBQ shrimp is excellent and you'll want to get more bread to soak up the spicy, delicious sauce. The Garlic Noodles (with beef), were balanced and really great.
Service is solid and you can expect the chef to come check on you. They are very welcoming to children, as we've brought our toddler multiple times now. The rear lawn offers a nice, mostly enclosed place for kids to run and play, while the parents can relax on the patio within eye shot of the entire lawn.
Cocktails are delicious and reasonably priced ($8-12 range if I recall) compared to similar establishments.

Read moreI don’t know how I’ve lived right down the street from this place for most of my life and never knew it was a bed and breakfast and an events venue! It’s amazing inside! Recently attended a 70s themed surprise bday party here and they did not disappoint one bit! There was a whole staff of people eager to help and make the night one to remember, from the open bar and friendly bartender to the delicious dinner which was served buffet-style with one friendly staff member serving each portion for each dish… but nothing compares to the interior and the layout of that place - THEY HAVE A HUGE BALLROOM INSIDE!! I’m attaching pictures, thats the best I can do but I give this place 5 stars and will look for opportunities to incorporate them into my future events as often as I can. Check them out, you won’t be...
