Absolutely the Worst Experience I’ve Ever Had at Twin Peaks Robinson

My friends and I have been regulars at Twin Peaks Robinson for Thursday Night Football — especially when the Steelers play — and we’ve generally had decent experiences. But tonight was, without question, the worst service I’ve ever experienced at any restaurant or bar.

We arrived well before kickoff and were seated at 7:45 PM. Despite the place not being packed yet, we didn’t receive our first drinks until 8:35 PM — 20 minutes into the game. That’s nearly an hour of sitting with no drinks. We were given excuse after excuse — a “keg was empty,” “it’ll just be a minute,” “the bar is backed up” — but waiting over 40 minutes for a single round of drinks is completely unacceptable.

Things only went downhill from there. Our waitress seemed overwhelmed and offered very little explanation for the delays. Our food actually arrived before our beverages, which I’ve never seen happen in my life. When we asked to speak to a manager about the situation, no one ever came over, and we received no apology or compensation for what was clearly a complete service failure.

To make matters worse, we were seated in the garage/outdoor area, which was unbearably hot due to poor temperature control. It felt like a sauna. The TVs in our section weren’t even tuned to the game until almost halftime, and we sat through the first half listening to other noise instead of the broadcast.

It was also obvious that the restaurant was poorly managed overall. Every table around us was covered in empty mugs and glasses — no one seemed to be bussing tables. We had to repeatedly ask our waitress to clear our own just to have enough space to eat. She even told us she was afraid to have the manager speak with us because of how poorly he treats the staff — something no customer should ever have to hear or deal with.

Knowing this was a Steelers game night, you’d think Twin Peaks would be fully staffed and ready — but instead, it was chaos, mismanagement, and complete lack of customer care. After tonight, I don’t think I’ll ever be returning, and I’ll be telling everyone I know to avoid this location.

Twin Peaks Robinson seriously needs a management overhaul. No customer should ever wait nearly an hour for a beer, have food before drinks, and be ignored when...

You're going out to eat. There's hundreds of options. Good food? Good atmosphere? Good service? If at any point you consider Twin Peaks then these qualities mean nothing to you. You want beer and eye candy. You know it, they know it, it's what they're there for.

Aestethically you can see what the chain is going for. Wood adorned every surface. Well, not really wood. Wood veneer and plastic with wood stickers. Despite the fake plastic it would've felt cozy if it wasn't for the cheap music pumped through the restaurant. That along with TVs that seemed to play ads 90% of the time.

In the whole time I spent in the restaurant the only real pair of tits I saw was on the man who seated us. The staff were practically non-existent. We were one of half a dozen tables in the restaurant and it took nearly 20 minutes for us to even be asked about what we wanted to drink. Our waitress looked like she was taken from a botox ad. She looked like a stick with cheap implants.

I wish I could have given our waitress a negative tip. We should have gotten money back for what we had to endure. She seated us in an empty corner of the place, right under a searing vent, and promptly forgot about us for most of the night. Actually she forgot about most of the tables it seems because she was too busy talking up some guy on the other side of the restaurant.

She got us our drinks(she never carded us) and she took another 5 minutes to get us some of the waters we wanted. She forgot about one of them and we had to wait another 10 minutes before she came back for us to ask for it. When she did come back she asked us if we had ordered food yet. Her one job. She forgot if she did it. I was absolutely stunned.

Once again. You don't go to this place for good service, you go for who does the service. Thus far most of our service was done by an overweight guy and a Mexican bus boy who offered us silverware after we were almost done with our food.

Anyway when we actually did order food it wasn't a long wait for it to get to our table. The quality and price of the food is likewise nothing to write home about. On par...

Been here twice. First time was bad service and bad tasting beers (alot of out of stock ones as well), but food wasnt too bad so decided to give it another try. Waited at host stand for about 6 minutes to get greeted. Several staff memebers walked past, but didn't say anything. After being sat waited another 5 minutes for server to come over. We placed a drink order and waited another 15 minutes for what I think was a manager to come over and ask us if we'd been greeted yet. Then she went to the bar for our drinks only to tell me that they were out of stock on the item I ordered. A whiskey that I could see an open bottle of on the display at the bar. Not sure why she lied about it. I asked for water instead becauseat this point i didn't want to wait another 15 minutes to be told they were out of something else. Placed a food order of 3 items Server told us " its not busy so it should be out quick" before dissappearing.. she came back 30 minutes later and asked if we wanted our tacos out first. We placed the order for everything at the same time. Im not sure how after 30 minutes this would be a question being asked as apposed to the food being brought out. We told her we'll take it whenever it's ready. Then waited another 20 minutes for it to come out. Didn't have any silverware or napkins. Server went to get some. Came back without them and asked how everything was. I had to remind her that she was getting us the silverware so we could eat. Brisket in tacos was tough and had gristle. Potroast was full of fat, vegetables were cold. Poor server was clueless and there was no manager present to support or assist her. She was very nice, but lost. Lots of employees standing around and picking their shorts out of their butt then touching glasses and plates. There for 2 hours and won't be back. All around they need to rethink their service model. The signs someone typed up all over the building saying " Do not take pictures of the girls" is a huge red flag on how the staff is respected at this place. Get manager presence out on the floor to help and look out...

July'25- My experience here has been really varied so it totally depends what server you get here. Olivia was supercool. Got my order perfectly. I tried chargrilled salmon and smoked chicken wings and they both were awesome! The food is obviously good here no matter what server you get! I was a bit late in ordering a dessert at around 12:45AM and Olivia had cashed out but she still took the order and another server Ella got me an amazing sundae! Love the teamwork! Thank you Olivia and Ella, you're both awesome!! Hope I get you as my server next time too because I don't like to experiment and find out 🙂 December'24 - Servers need more training. My server was really bad. Kept me waiting for almost 30 minutes to take my food order. Had to ask another server to let my server know I was ready. It wasn't really busy when I came but got crowded later allowing other people to order food before me. Really like the food here but service tonight was 👎🏻. Sorry but I've never had such bad service in my life and it felt a crime to tip even though I did. December'23 - 5 stars for the perfect service by our waitress Tatum. Loved the dirty blonde beer and my Chicken Ranch sandwich. Thank you. Sandwiches absolutely recommended here! Overall rated 5/5 November'23- Extremely Poor service. Overall experience was ok. We asked our waitress to give us a few minutes to decide and she never came back to take the order until after 20 minutes of waiting we requested another waitress to take our order and she basically asked our assigned waitress to take the order. Our waitress was not even smiling, and didn't seem happy serving us. It looked like we owed this place money by the way we were treated. Food came 20-25 minutes after ordering and that too was wrong. We ordered Spicy Thai chilli ribs and our waitress got us the Sweet and Smoky Ribs. The sandwiches here are tasty! And I loved my dirty blonde beer. I might come back only for that. I wish service on our table was as good as it was at other tables by other waitresses.

We honestly didn't know that this was a Hooters knock off with a Pacific Northwest plaid theme until we walked in the door and realized that "twin peaks" was NOT a nod to the TV show these Gen-X'ers grew up with. 😅 So, fair warning, this place is a sports bar where the 90% make clientele come at least in part to ogle the servers. Anyway, they keep the beer chilled to 29° so it immediately forms an icy crust the moment it's poured into to handled mugs in which they serve it. I ordered two of the house brews, the Drop Dead Redhead (IPA) and the Knotty Brunette (brown ale), and both were good. Not extraordinary or memorable, but not embarrassing either. The food was excellent. We got the brisket tacos and the Texas cheesesteak. They both had a pleasantly spicy kick to them. The were a lot of other items on the menu that looked intriguing as well. It's good to know that the appeal of this place is not limited to low-cut midriff tops, push-up bras and short shorts but you can also count on eating well. The service was also excellent. Elise, our server helped us decide from among the wide range of choices on the menu. In summary, it's a solid restaurant.

[This is NOT an Artificial Intelligence AI generated review but a real world Chuck Whigham review.] I was recommended to this location by our great customer and I went here for dinner. Karsyn was my server and for my beverage I ordered water, no ice, and four lemons. For my entree, I ordered the Chargrilled Salmon with no rice and I substituted it with a Caesar Salad and Broccoli as my other side. Karsyn was very welcoming, friendly, courteous, and professional. It was football Sunday and they were rather busy. She got my "Dine In" order quickly prepared and processed. The Salmon was fresh, hot, and delicious and so was the Caesar Salad and Broccoli. Patrons continued to roll in wearing their favorite team and players football jersey. The restaurant is rather large but well managed and they "Keep It Moving." The bathrooms are clean and maintained and the parking lot free of debris. This was my second time visiting Twin Peaks and my first time was in North Carolina which was also a great experience. I witnessed zero riffraff or transients in the eateries parking lot and I will definitely be returning to this location when I am in the area.
