Tried tonight for the first time and probably won’t be back

At 6:30 pm the place was almost empty, there were only 3 tables including us. We ordered a breakfast and a hot turkey sandwich.

The breakfast was mediocre with no flavor at all and extremely overpriced for 2 eggs, bacon, and hash browns in a bowl.

The hot turkey sandwich was disgusting. Slimy turkey, hardly any gravy, luke warm turkey, chunky mashed potatoes, and really gross green beans with some kind of red sweet sauce on them. The plate was super sloppy with food all over the edges too.

Our waitress disappeared and we couldn’t ask for drink refills or something else to eat. Neither person in our party really ate more than a few bites. The next time we saw her was to put our bill on the table and she just walked away. We were sitting right next to the counter so we know we were seen. Almost $30 for two inedible meals is ridiculous.

Then the second server up at the register looked at us and just stood behind the counter talking to the cook about her rolled ankle and bar trips when at school (I’m assuming college) for almost 5 minutes before we asked if we could pay so we weren’t late...

The food was good but, overpriced. However, I am not writing about the food. On August 6th, I went for breakfast with my boyfriend. We sat down in a bigger booth but, we were asked to move to a smaller booth. We ordered two greek breakfast bowls with coffee ($35.00) plus tip. When we were done, there was a waitress taking another group’s order. I go around her. However, I slipped on a mat and run into metal cabinets. After this happened, we told the waitress at the cash register. She said the A/C unit was dripping but, there was no sign indicating this to customers. We walked outside to examine the injury. I have an abrasion, swelling and bruising. It did not bleed. However, if this was an older person, it could have been worse for them. The restaurant did not care to write an injury report and removed the mat after we left the restaurant. I did get it checked out by urgent care and they recommended a tetanus shot. Please be careful here. I will not return to this...

DONT GET THE LEMON RICE SOUP!!!!!!!! First, ive been coming here for years, i get the same thing everytime i come, a quart of lemon rice soup and chicky strips. This time has ruined the restaurant for my family and I. I order a carry out of my usual and i find a big nasty looking bug in the soup while pouring it out for my kid. I scoop it out take a few pics inspect some more take some more pics and yes for sure it is a bug. I call up to speak with a manager and the waitress asked who i was before telling me he wont take my call. She had an attitude the entire phone call while telling me “this has never happened before?” “Are you sure its a bug?” So i take it back for a refund, the same lady doesnt say a word to me grabs the soup and looks inside an proceeds to ask me “wheres the bug” i showed her the pictures i took and she reluctantly gave...
