Krazy Shawarma — Restaurant in Rochester Hills

I want to start off by saying I’m a very patient and a polite person. Inpatient is an insult to my character. After many visits to this restaurant today was the worst. I order a burger and fries over the phone. I came in to the restaurant to pay for my order and waited in the back. after I saw multiple bags on the counter I ask was one of those mine. The lady told me no and the mine order will be ready soon so I stepped aside. Shortly after I got my order went on about my day. I bite into my burger and realized my burger was raw. I called in to let them know hey my burger is raw. The lady on the phone tells me (with an attitude)my burger was not cooked all the way because I was rushing her. I have NEVER rushed anybody especially when it comes preparing food, which I explained to her. She proceeds to tell me she can have another burger ready in 20 minutes. I explained to her I was coming off my lunch and could not leave store to come back. She offered me a refund but something just did not sit right with me. So I went back to drop the raw food off and to get my refund receipt. Both of lady’s in there had disgusting attitudes as if they were just served a raw burger. To tell me you served me a raw burger because I was inpatient is completely unacceptable (and honey you told me that on a recording line). THAT IS NOT MY CHARACTER TO BE IMPOLITE OR INPATIENT. I Indeed tossed the bag of food on the counter because you guys are rude and disrespectful, so at this point I will match your energy. If she would have apologized when I called and not blame her undercooking a burger on a customer this could have been avoided. Mr. Manager I hope you respond with respect and the truth being that your apologies were not...

I wish to extend my heartfelt gratitude for the divine blessing that led me to partake in an Iftari at this esteemed establishment. While diligently engaged in my duties within the nearby vicinity, observing the fast until the moment of iftar, I found myself drawn to this restaurant. Upon entering, I was immediately struck by the remarkable level of customer service, which surpassed all expectations. Moreover, the culinary delights presented before me were nothing short of extraordinary; each dish exceeded my anticipations, prompting me to indulge beyond measure.

What truly touched my heart was the thoughtful gesture of providing complimentary dates and water to aid in breaking my fast, a gesture that exemplifies the spirit of hospitality and generosity. Furthermore, as I prepared to take my leave, I was pleasantly surprised by the esteemed lady of the establishment, who graciously bestowed upon me a complimentary dessert, an unexpected and delightful conclusion to an already exceptional dining experience.

In reflection, the warmth of the hospitality extended to me during my visit not only nourished my body but also enriched my soul. Not sure why all the high ratings.... I've been to a decent sample of Mediterranean restaurants in the area, which there are a lot of, and Krazy Shawarma twice for lunch. In terms of taste, the food here is average, at best, and overpriced in terms of value. After my last visit I was wondering if they charged me for someone else's food, but it turns out that not only is the food a poor value, but they added themselves a tip without my authorization! I have no idea what for, because I ordered at the counter, waited a long time, picked up at the counter, and took the food go. This is really-shady and I will not be going back. I've only experienced this in sit-down restaurants with parties of 6 or more, and it's clearly noted on the receipt BEFORE you pay the bill. I should really give them 1-star on account of principle but I'll be nice because the food was OK. I could have had a sit-down meal with much larger and better tasting portions, unlimited fresh bread and hummus, and a drink for less than what I paid here for a sandwich and side...
