My wife and I went to the restaurant on 2/15/2025 at around 9:40 am, I ordered the Traditional Breakfast with 3 eggs, over medium, extra EXTRA crispy bacon almost burnt, first my wife's food came out, then mine came out 5 minutes later, bacon barely cooked, a couple minutes later she brought me a plate to put that bacon on while the rest of my food just sat there getting cold, finally after 7 minutes later my bacon came out almost correct but whatever. I cut into my eggs and they were way over easy certainly not over medium. I had enough my wife was done eating, server came by and I explained that the eggs were not right just take this off my bill. I did order a side of toast dud not eat that either but that was never taken off my bill but the service was slow and I did not want to wait. Went to the front to pay and the cashier asked how everything was and I explained it was one of the worst experiences that we have had and we ate there once just about every weekend. There was a woman with short dark hair that appeared to be the manager and I have seen her in there many times she asked what was wrong can I explain that Not only was there the bacon issue but also my eggs Came out over easy instead of over medium, she goes yes my server said you push the plate in front of her and told her to take it off your bill which that never happened and yes I did explain that I was not going to wait any longer as my wife was done with her breakfast and I told her to take it off the bill. This was probably some of the worst management customer no service I have ever experienced she is certainly a bad rendition of what you want in a manager she had absolutely no clue as how to fix the situation and we really love this place this was the first bad experience that we had and I explained you know based on how you're acting and you're condescending tone we will not be back and her answer was "okay see ya" I've seen this manager interact before with other customers before she definitely has an attitude and I'm sure this has not been the first complaint from a customer or employee in her. Read moreI was excited to go to first watch to get their brunch menu cocktails which I seen online. Unfortunately Rockhill does not have the permit to offer it. I was seated rather quickly and food came out at decent time it was okay nothing special. My waitress on the hand was not the best. She asked did we know what we wanted I said yes she mentioned water and coffee and my Fiancé said he wanted water. So she walked off without even acknowledging what I wanted and came back with water and coffee. When I asked about the brunch cocktails she let me know they didn't have them. Bummer but I still decided to dine in and order the virgin drink. She had a very rushed approach to take are order even though they weren’t even busy. Just not at all friendly the lady however who did bring are food was super friendly. The waitress asked once is everything okay and immediately asked about the bill. Which was okay because we were already ready to go because of her vibe. She brought the bill to the table and I seen a charge for coffee and I brought it to her attention. We never ordered coffee and we didn’t even touch the coffee. I thought they gave it out like some restaurants give out breadsticks. She actually wanted to debate with me about it but eventually took it off the bill. If I could only have tipped the server who brought out our food I would have. I will not be revisiting...
Read moreWe did not have the best experience during this visit. My mom loves this place due to them being health-conscious, but the cooks were not having a good day. I ordered "The Works" and my mom ordered the "Tri-Fecta". While my omelet was good, half of my potatoes and all the onions were burnt and overly salty. My mom also ordered a side of potatoes and onions and had the same experience. Half of her order was burned and overly salty. The annoying part was that her food kept coming out one by one. My mom, like many others likes to eat the food TOGETHER. My mother ordered scrambled eggs with cheese and our waitress wrote all that down. The cooks had a very hard time understanding scrambled eggs and kept giving my mom a beaten fried egg. I say "kept giving" because when we told the lady it was wrong, she then proceeded to come back out with the same thing, same mistake. What we had a hard time understanding is why the waitress who wrote down what she wanted, then proceeded to bring out the wrong item. Please know that we were the only two at the restaurant at this point, and they were not busy. We came in 45 minutes before closing, yet that should not affect the service and experience.
