**I have the recorded conversation-this happened around 12 am 16 DEC 2024
I came at 12 am after work. The drive thru rep says âwe are only accepting uber eats and door dash because we are short staffed.â
Which confuses me, there is someone working the drive thru, I could see multiple others in the kitchen just standing there when I drove around. I asked âso I have to order door dash to get food?â She sighed very hard and rudely screamed âI MEAN IF YOU WANT WENDYS THAT BAD!â It surprised me, so I decided to drive around and see who this person was that your company hired and deemed fit to be a customer service representative for you.
I asked if I could speak to the manager, she said she WAS the manager. A girl with pink hair and a nose piercing wearing a purple shirt. I then asked for her name, she said she wouldnât give that to me. But then proudly stated-with a smirk on her face - âyou can call to my GM tomorrow and he wonât care, he knows how I am.â I sure hope she was bluffing and this isnât the case.
Hey guys I get it, itâs hard to find a quality employee that is willing to work at your pay rate at 12 am at night. I certainly didnât want to be on your employees bad side just because I went to your company (during your advertised business hours) a hour and a half before closing time. Weâve got to do better. Itâs likely driving your sales down, I can almost guarantee with the amount of customers your âmanagerâ is turning away, your night shifts hours are probably costing you more than your revenue.
I happily took my business to the nice smiling faces at the McDonaldâs down the street.

   Read moreWe've been here before and the service counter is SLOW and they have to call someone everytime to find something on the touch screen. However, on Saturday night we were flat out denied service because we were a group of 14 people. What?!?! I get it if you're understaffed, but the restaurant was EMPTY and there were two employees cleaning the dining area and at least 4-5 people behind the counter and meal prep area. At least two of the employees in the meal prep area were in pajamas! They didn't talk to us and then went to hide in the back of the kitchen where they were apparently talking to the shift manager. The manager came out and told us that they would have needed an advanced notice to serve our group (of 14 people...only 10 were in the restaurant at the time).    Read moreIf I could put less than one star, I absolutely would. Iâm not one to complain about a wait time usually. Iâve worked in food service so I get it but the fact that I waited 20 minutes when the restaurant was basically dead and someone that pulled up 10 minutes after me got food at the same time as me and then I get home when I live less than five minutes away and my food is completely cold after waiting 20 minutes is ridiculous. Not to mention. I had to get out of my car to ask about my food Didnât get my drink until I asked for it and then the girl at the drive-through window had something to say about me having an attitude and said it loud enough for me to hear and looked directly at me.
