watch kids and pets closely. as the dangerous mississippi river is right there and the railing is NOT childproof petproof or skateboard proof...and since a car went through it in one spot, is non existent. i hope they put in a better railing. also i watched kids run to the bathroom doors and find the playground area bathroom doors to be locked. this is an awful inconvenience especially.for a mom who needs to round up several children to rush to a...

It's just a nice venue... Situated along the Mississippi river front in the heart of downtown Davenport Iowa.

I have attended Bix Beiderbeck Jazz Festivals, Quad City Symphony Riverfront Pops, Blues Festival's, numerous school and organizational functions... and as a youth have played in many orchestra and band events on that very stage. It has history. It is an integral part of Davenport.

She is an Old School Beauty of a Park, almost frozen in Time & the Mississippi is Her Friend that comes to visit from time to time. It's probably because of this this Park hasn't been overdeveloped & I believe that the TWO of Them know what they're doing more so than Any Potbellied Politician! Elevate river drive all along the river to protect the Concrete Jungle from Flooding & keep a Taste of Green Space for ALL of Us...

I love driving in this area. We almost walked regularly here before too until there was a shady guy that was gonna pass us that looked like he had a drink so we turned around. There are a lot of birds to see and sometimes you'll see bits of torn fish on the ground while walking. Beautiful scenery.
