Below Zero Degrees Ice Cream Rolls — Restaurant in Rockaway

It’s my personal opinion:

I recently visited Below Zero Degrees Ice Cream Rolls and tried the Mango Madness ice cream rolls. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. The rolls were flavorless; I couldn't taste the mango or the vanilla base. The toppings, including mango bubbas, whipped cream, and a wafer biscuit, were also bland, except for the mango bubbas. For the price, the toppings just don't do justice.

Quantity-wise, the serving was okay, but the taste was terrible. It felt like eating something cold with no flavor. While the flavor choice might have played a part, it's not an excuse for such a lackluster experience.

Additionally, I was frustrated by the billing process. I asked if the prices for using a card and cash were the same, and the lady at the counter said yes. However, I noticed an almost 3% charge for card usage when I swiped my card. I had cash and would have used it if she had communicated the fee.

Lastly, the shop was a bit warm for an ice cream place, adding to the overall unpleasant experience.

One thing I would like to clarify is , me and my wife opted for single ice cream to taste the first one and if we like it then we planned on getting second one. You are right, although we didn’t like the taste we finished the ice cream because we didn’t want to waste purchased ice cream. But thank you for thoroughly inspecting everything and getting back. My husband and I share a love for ice cream; we didn't see any advertisements for this place we just happened to drive by. My husband chose the camp and chill and the owner asked how he would like his marshmallow, we looked at him puzzled when he said roasted? My husband said sure And they proceeded to grab a torch and roast this marshmallow! It was so cool I got the mango madness I ate it so fast I didn't even get a chance to take a picture. Wow so delicious!!!! We saved this weekend to spend it with our daughters 💕 we went to the planetarium and afterwards we decided to try rolled ice cream! Luckily we have one near by which was this one. The service was quick and friendly! We went during a quiet time, we were the only ones but im glad because all us together plus my mother equals 5 people to wait for 😄😄. It's definitely your money's worth, these desserts are huge.
