Subway — Restaurant in Rockford Township

My husband walked in after a long day of travel to buy sandwiches for our family, at approximately 8:53 on 10/17/25, to order from Subway at this Road Ranger stop. Two guys were standing behind the counter with the entire counter cleaned up. One guy said, "Bro. We're all closed up and we aren't making any more food." So I have some concerns around this. Why post closing hours for 9:00 when at 8:53 you have decided to be closed? Also, why would everything be cleaned up at 8:53? I went to the one on e state st in Rockford across from don carters I had a long black hair I bit into almost choked on it was baked INSIDE the BREAD!!!!!! I showed the lady she said we can remake it I asked for my money back she goes well when this happens you get your money or a new sandwich???? I got a new 1 and my $5 back I was disgusted!!!
