Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Rockford Township

The two-star rating is because the food, once you get it, is actually pretty good. However, the ordering process and the speed of service are awful. The order-taker ALWAYS has trouble hearing orders, probably because the ordering speaker is right next to the road, and there is nothing to prevent the wind and the car noise from distorting the sound. But nothing has been done to help the situation, which must frustrate the workers and definitely frustrates me. I also have to assume that this results in many incorrectly-filled orders. At the very least, I would think that management would want to improve the situation to prevent wrong orders. There were 8, yes, 8 workers visible from my car while I waited for my order, most of whom seemed to be walking back and forth, accomplishing nothing. One thing they definitely were NOT doing was working together efficiently. Oh, and the salad dressing I ordered twice because the worker didn't hear me the first time, not in the bag. My receipt reads SIDE SALAD, no dressing. I frequent this DQ because it's about half a mile from my home. There is, however, another one less than 3 miles from here, and it's about to...

I have never been treated so poorly in my life. Cashier was EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. I would give ZERO STARS if I could. After I politely asked if I could do a split payment , cashier rolled her eyes and told me I was making her life difficult. She then GRABBED my phone for the half payment while ignoring several times that I still needed to put my passcode in, and shut the window while I was speaking. I could hear her talking about me to her coworkers. After I told her she was being extremely rude and that I no longer wanted the food, she cussed at me and refused to give my money back. When I asked for her name she slammed the window and LOCKED it. She finally opened it almost a minute later and proceeded to tell me to get out of the way (while still cussing at me) because she had a line. After she could see that I was NOT going to leave without my money for food I didn’t even get, she THREW THE MONEY AT MY FACE and continued cussing. I have never left a review on anything until now. Hands-down the worst dairy queen I have ever been to I have been there three times and every time they have messed up my order update This is hands down the worst Dairy Queen establishment I have ever been to in my entire life it may even be the worst fast food service I have ever experienced hands down!!!! My meal was made wrong not once not twice but 3 separate times and I was told by the manager they would make good on it but when I got there they took my order and then only gave me the burger portion when originally I wanted my money back but I played ball and gave them the chance but they don’t even tell me that they are not going to honor my meal after their mistake for the 3rd time and promising me they would make it right.
