Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Rockford Township

We were in Rockford for a convention over the weekend and needed lunches for 20+ people on Sunday. Timing was potentially an issue because we had a small window to get our order back to the BMO Harris center to arrive for the lunch break. So we decided to stop at Nearby Chipotle locations the week prior to see if they could work with us. We happily found this Riverside Blvd location to be very clean as well as the manager, Josie, to be extremely helpful. She told us the best way to place everyone’s specific orders on Sunday morning to ensure they would be ready and on time for our pick up. She gave us her card and told us to reach out with any questions and was so accommodating when we had to call her with a very last minute addition to our order. Everything was packed up beautifully in 3 large catering boxes and arrived exactly as ordered. We were very impressed by her customer service and the entire crew. We will definitely work with this location whenever we are in the Rockford area...

This is by far one of the worst Chipotle . I have been to this location before and vowed never to go again. However my daughter’s school had a fundraiser and this is the location they chose. The first thing I noticed was the brown wilted lettuce I asked the young man if he had more lettuce he told me he could get it fr the front of the line but it was also brown. He gave me the smallest portion of rice when i asked for more he then filled the bowl with rice and was visibly annoyed with my request. When i got home and tasted the food it was absolutely disgusting 🤢. The chicken was bland the tomato’s had brown pieces like the lettuce and the rice was hard and under cooked. I paid for extra chicken the only good thing about this visit is I was able to donate to my daughters school charity. if i could give this place zero stars i would. I know their a new store but this was probably my worst chipotle experience, parking lot is to small, and there isnt a good option for parking oversized vehicles unless you want to cross a busy intersection on foot. The store layout is janky it trays to maximize room for a line to form (not that there parking lot would support a long line) and instead just forces people to stand on either end of the table you sit at, as there's only 4 tables.

The food was small servings and was pretty bland overall, atleast they made a big deal about filling the guacamole, but it was the equivalent of flat soda. I'd say I'm never coming back but I'll probably give it another try in a couple of months, too see if the food atleast improves.

Visited again a month later food quality improved, smaller sizes might be sign of the times didn't try the guacamole this time. Didn't dine in either all previous complaints still hold but atleast now it taste...
