Walking into Beach Hut Deli, I was instantly greeted by the inviting aroma of freshly baked bread, mingling with the tantalizing scents of seasoned meats and zesty condiments. It was a veritable olfactory symphony that sang of culinary delights waiting to be discovered.

However, what truly set this gastronomic haven apart was Aimia, the artisan behind the counter. With the affable demeanor of a seasoned host and the skill of a maestro, she orchestrated an unparalleled sandwich experience for me. Upon asking for her personal favorite, she recommended the Santa Cruz, but with a twist—she suggested it be heated and accented with creamy avocado slices. Intrigued, I took her up on the suggestion, and it proved to be serendipitous advice.
As Aimia worked her magic, I couldn't help but observe her meticulous attention to detail. Each layer of turkey, bacon, and cheese was arranged with the precision of a jeweler setting a precious stone. Even the avocado, those buttery wedges of green goodness, found their designated spots with purpose. The pièce de résistance was the heating process, which transformed the sandwich into a melty masterpiece, its flavors harmonizing like a finely tuned chord.
When I finally sank my teeth into the Santa Cruz, it was as if I had discovered the holy grail of sandwiches. The medley of smoky, savory, and creamy notes struck a sublime balance, each bite a revelation in texture and taste. It was not just a sandwich; it was a work of art, lovingly crafted by the hands of a true virtuoso.
In an age where food often becomes a hurried afterthought, Aimia and Beach Hut Deli remind us that it can still be an art form. Whether you're a sandwich connoisseur or a casual enthusiast, do yourself a favor and make the pilgrimage to this sanctuary of flavor. And if you're lucky enough to have Aimia behind the counter, rest assured—you're in for a culinary experience that transcends the ordinary and ventures into the extraordinary.

I never write reviews, especially negative ones, but the last few visits to this deli have rubbed me the wrong way. Overall, I'd say the deli is great. The food has been consistent from the times that I have eaten at this location, and although it can seem a bit pricey the quantity and quality of the sandwiches is always above other deli chains. The reason for the low stars and the negative review I alluded to is that the atmosphere has changed in my last few visits. On two separate occasions, one of the employees who appears(ed) to be the manager (she looked older than the younger girls that typically work there) seemed to be talking down to the other employees in really rude way. At first I thought nothing of it, but as I watched closer it became clear to me that the attitude might be a regular thing from the (manager?). The other employees seemed to try to brush it off and keep working, but it made me uncomfortable thinking that this might be a regular occurrence for them. If I had a child that worked here I would be appalled if she was talked to the way that I heard some of the employees being talked to. Beach hut has been my go-to deli in the past because of it's stellar food, but another big reason I choose it over other delis is the ambience. Seeing the employees get talked down to and look stressed out takes away a lot from the "happy" energy that I looked forward to when coming to this deli and other beach huts. I will be taking a break from visiting this beach hut for a few weeks and hopefully when I come in to eat again the atmosphere will be back to what I have become accustomed to in...
