Captain D's — Restaurant in Rockmart

I live with Meniere's Disease and MUST eat a salt free diet. There are very few places that I can go "out to eat" and Captain D's is one of them because I can get the grilled fish cooked without seasoning. The girl at the register was very kind and friendly (hence the 2nd star). The first piece of fish that came out was raw. I don't mean just undercooked, I mean sushi. I took it back and waited a bit for them to correct it. As soon as they brought it out and set it down, I smelled it (different piece of fish) and it was NOT a good smell- the word sewage came to mind. My husband actually took a bite of it and said he couldn't taste it for the smell. This time, he took it back and spoke to the manager. He was very apologetic and offered to "make it right". All we wanted to do was leave and never come back. And I suspect that's exactly what we'll do. My restaurant choices just...

The colored lady in drive thru is a rude person. My mother was driving she’s 65 years old. Always gets the senior discounts . Asked the lady what they offered on the menu for seniors . The lady told a list. My mother asked for one of the meals the lady mentioned at the senior price. Well we got to the window and the rude lady said we couldn’t have the senior discount unless we came inside. So we decided to park and go eat inside. Well once in side the same lady asked my mother for her identification before giving her the discount. We asked to speak to a manager and the lady said there were no managers on site . Well we just called and got Mr. Patel who claimed he was the owner and he was extremely rude and unprofessional. This is the worst experience I’ve ever...

I used to make it a point to go to THIS Captain Ds, mainly because it was one of the few locations left that had condiments readily available--and free!--at the self-serve area in the dining room. Well, NO LONGER!! I just went there today to discover, to my chagrin, that most of the condiments had been removed and were now available behind the counter. To make it worse, they are now as stingy as the other locations (especially the Cartersville location!), and to get more than 4 tartar sauces, you have to BUY them...!!!...on top of all that, their self-serve drink station has been inoperable for months, with no signs of being fixed.
