Mark's Pizza — Restaurant in Rockton Township

As soon as my kids and I pulled up to Mark's, I knew this was gonna be an experience to remember. The whole vibe was positive from the first minute to the last. We've never been here before, just passing through on a mini vacation, and after reading reviews it was the perfect spot to try. When we walked through the door we were greeted immediately by the owner Mark and his wonderful staff. Mark was super cool and talked with me and the kids for a while. He's genuine and his staff was top notch. I realized quickly that this place was more of a grab and go, call in and pick up or delivery type establishment, but also offers plenty of outdoor seating with picnic tables and umbrellas. I didn't see any seating inside, but it was cool to stand there and order and watch them make the food. And again, I can't say enough on how accommodating and friendly Mark is and how top-notch his staff is. It was a true family feeling standing there and talking with them. We decided to eat outside vs. taking food to our hotel a few miles away. It was well worth it. The service was amazing and the food.... EXCELLENT. We ordered The Works pizza, a small kids cheese/pepperoni/ green peppers and olives, and an order of boneless Buffalo wings. Everything was exactly what I was hoping for. On top of all that, as we were leaving & saying our goodbyes, Mark surprised me with a homemade meatball to take back to the hotel. This guy! Love at 15th sight! lol! I am a pet sitter and have clients on both sides of town so I have driven past here a million times ..each time making a mental note “ I need to stop and try”.. well circumstances finally allowed me to do just that and I am now kicking myself for not stopping sooner! This place is fantastic! I would call it a hidden gem! Upon entering you are hit with the smell of deliciousness! I ordered the all homemade spaghetti and meatballs! So so delicious! The garlic bread as well! I was able to meet the very nice owner Mark and found we had an issue in common.. foster homes.. he worked in the system and I was in the system.. it was a life changing home for me as they were the only family I truly ever had .. my father has passed and I live with my mother now .. she is 93 and still going strong ..driving out everyday to visit with her friends! So long story short you are doing a disservice to yourself if you love pizza spaghetti etc. and you have not visited Mark’s! Don’t just drive by.. stop in.. I know I will b …each and every time I am at my clients houses!! Terrible customer service. I have been ordering from Marks for a very long time and never will order from there again after tonight. After placing my order over the phone the orders total seemed a bit high considering I order from there all the time. The girl that took the order mentioned prices when up so we asked for a menu to be brought with my order. Once our order came and also the menu I calculated everything and it was coming up different. Come to find out the order was wrong. Tried calling to explain we didn’t order chicken tenders and fries we ordered kids chicken nuggets and the ladie pretty much said sorry there was nothing they could do. At this point I told her it wasn’t my fault the order was wrong and was pretty much being blamed for my order being wrong . She ended up hanging up on me which I called back to speak with Mark himself and his response was I’m busy and hung up on me also. We are long time customers that order from this business frequently and for them to treat their customers like this is terrible considering we just spent almost 100 dollars...
