Cameron's Seafood — Restaurant in Rockville

This location is take out only, there is no seating anywhere. I purchased a dozen mixed crabs, it was $35. I have been here a few times now and it has not been consistent.

The cream of crab specifically has not been consistent with different flavors and textures every time I have purchased them.

The crabs were fine, small, but for 2 people this was enough, the legs on all of the crabs were overcooked and very dry which I was not expecting. The second time I visited, my crabs were all missing claws which was terrible since some people I was eating this with only eat legs, I was very very dissapointed and should have been told this, though they did put in extra crabs it does not make up for the loss of the legs that some people only eat.(UPDATE) I came back a week ago and the crabs were much larger than I have ever received in the summer.

The hush puppies come with 12 and they were really good. The corn was $4 and only came with 2 pieces of tiny over cooked corn (which was less than half of a regular piece of corn) and one of the corn tasted like it was boiled with jalapeños, I would not buy the corn again.

I tried out the crab cake stuffed shrimp, I bought it and baked it at home. It was so bland, no flavor except for the taste of bread. I tried to salvage it but it was inedible, they need to put some seasoning...

we went there today (memorial day) because of course crabs were no where to be found. we drove to rockville from mt. airy when we got there they were out of crabs but waiting for 3 trucks to come in. the gentleman was outside telling everyone the trucks would be there in an hour we decided to hang out there an form a line because its first come first serve. i must say im not sure if he was the owner or manager but he was great not only did he keep us informed on where the driver was but he would call to make sure they were gonna be on time. He was very friendly and organized with orders. He also made it very easy if you wanted something inside he went an got it an even took your payment inside and brought it back out so when the crabs got there it was pretty easy and quick the crabs were very full an very good. i definitely recommend this location for as busy as it was he handled it great an...

The store front is exceptionally clean, aesthetically pleasing with mile high ceiling fans, and hallelu-yer, there are no rotten fish odors. But check this out, to the right there are several tall freezers filled with tons of food to grab, pay, and go. Then to the left, there is refrigerated "all types" fresh seafood that can be ordered and cooked on the premises at no extra charge. Yes, I did say "cooked at no extra charge." Who does that? They even dropped the price of lump crab meat down to $30 per pound and jumbo crab meat down to $50 per pound. So, if you love crab cakes like I do, then hurry down to Cameron's today. The two men who took my order were so kind and caring, don't know if they're the owners, plus their customer service was exceptional. I got two carry-out seafood platters, and the food was scrumptious. I'll be going back to Cameron's Seafood next week for more good eats. Tell them...
