Terrible customer service, drove 7 miles as most do in this area, ordered the 2 for $4 sausage, egg & chesse briskets with bo rounds and drinks thru the drive thru.. Should have checked order right then, however being super busy, made the mistake of pulling off thinking order was simple enough right? Wrong, got headed outside of town, and keep getting that feeling to check, so I finally did..yup, instinct was correct..had two plain sausage patties slapped between a biscuit, no big problem I thought, they were busy and just a mistake. Upon getting back to the store, decided to go inside not wanting to disrupt the busy drive thru, as it was just a simple mistake, and could be corrected in a moment's time..wrong. Got treated as I was trying to steal something, or get over in some sort of way. Was told I would need to pay more money to receive the sausage, egg & cheese biskets..when in fact had I really been worried about the money side, I was charged $5 for plan biscuits, when what I'd order was 2 for 4.. Long story short, after being treated like I was wrong, some sort of thief I took was now cold and left without a screen, already thinking about this review, and not needing to act out in front of other patrons, and there children. However now they chose to poke a sleeping bear let add that I've not been real pleased with this location thru the past few visits. Stopped one night late, ordered the 12 piece.. chicken was dry, easily identifiable with as old, and had been setting for some time. Also the side of mashed potatoes were like water, and what comes to mind is water was added to complete the order being it was late, instead of having to fix a fresh batch. Having no way to know this prior to the 7 miles drive home, and store closing at that time, I chalked it up to a $40 learning lesson, and left it at that no really thinking anything about it other then don't stop close to closing. However, stopped for the tailgate after this experience during dinner hours, received old dry chicken, and dry broken biskets as a reward for my money, and loyalty. Not saying all locations are the same, actually I have never experienced anything like this at the West Lake Location. Vinton store is always a 30 minute, or more wait as they appear to only drop the chicken as orders are placed. I apologise for the long rant, and I do realize the customers aren't always right, but enough is enough, it will take some real convincing before this location ever sees another...
Read moreWent for lunch today and at the speaker I asked for a LARGE combo and an extra drink LARGE. Well I get to the first window and I don’t get a receipt so I get to the second window and the lady doesn’t even say anything not “ hi how are you” “hi” NOTHING. Just hands me the food and I let her know I ordered a large combo and she said well you’re gonna have to pay for it? Ok I thought I already did? So I didn’t say anything and just gave her my card... then I asked for 3 sauces and she told me I had to pay for the third one? Okay? So I pay for that too all while the LOVLEY manager is cussing in the background which me THE CUSTOMER is sitting looking right at her while she is cussing and telling the employee to charge me for all of these things..... which is fine but when you make a mistake I’m pretty sure you giving me an extra sause for free isn’t going to kill you. I won’t go here again and I think someone needs to re train the staff on how to talk to customers and fix a situation that was solely created BY THEM. But at the same time if they have a manger acting like that in font of a customer they obviously don’t know better. And it’s sad because everyone at our work eats here often and none of us will be anymore. Me making this post won’t change the terrible attitudes of them employees especially the manager but at least...
Read moreThere's something wrong with how the app interacts with employees.
I cannot pick up a mobile order through the drive through, and when the app prompts for a curbside pickup space, it instructs you to call the restaurant anyways after putting in the curbside space number. They did not answer the phone 3 times, though it was rush hour.
If I had gone through the drive through, I would've been in and out in 5 minutes, but by trying to use the "more convenient" option, I waited nearly a half hour, and received cold food, even when I could see the drive through getting cleared more than once, and the app reported my food finished and waiting.
This is not a problem of this location, but how the app interacts with the end user and the employees on staff. Fulfillment shop be time based, exactly as drive through fulfillment works. If the app has features like curbside space input, it should work as advertised.
Poor app design lead to bad customer service. I have a feeling employees aren't getting all the info or incentive to fulfill these...
