Harbor Freight — Local services in Rocky Mount

I'm not impressed with the management here. I walked in to buy 1 item at $4.99 and went to use a 25% off "We have missed you" coupon. Well wouldn't you know it, the coupon expired at midnight and was not good any longer. The manager was standing there and asked me if I wanted him to put it back on the shelf since the coupon would not work. Personally I would have come up with some kind of discount to accommodate the customer instead of offering to put the item back on the shelf. After all I don't think a discount of $1.25 is going to hurt this business as much as me not returning to shop at Harbor...

NOT the most pleasant visit to Harbor Freight today. For starters an item I purchased last Sunday went on sale Monday and the very unpleasant "male supervisor" said they do not have a price guarantee. To make matters worse they were out of the item that was on sale so I couldn't purchase any of them. I had to substitute a similar item, although it was same brand, same price as the other item when it was not on sale he wouldn't price match the one on sale, even though they were out of them. Did I mention the male "supervisor" was not...

Walked up and asked the blonde employee with glasses if they had what we were looking for and he made a snobby remark at us. I've had family shop here a few times, but after that experience I don't think we'll be back.
