KFC — Restaurant in Rocky Mount

If this was the 1st time I would probably just let it go. The KFC on my side of town (fairview) closed down permanently for some reason. The KFC 301 Rocky Mount location is the one I'm reviewing. I actually eat here alot so I'm hoping this review will help this group tighten up some. On night last week I came I'm around 7pm... had to wait 25 minutes... no white meat chicken in regular or extra crispy...

So tight Friday the 27th at 820 pm... I go through the drive thru and guess what... "sir we don't have any white meat in regular or extra crispy, would you like dark meat?"

"Umm.. no.. how long of a wait?..."

"20 to 25 minutes"

I chose to wait.. it just kills me that KFC don't have any chicken ready to go out the door. There's more employees behind the counter than in the dining area or the drive thru... still no chicken.

So I pull around to wait for my food and I see 3 customers walking out with huge orders of chicken... obviously they got wiped out of chicken just as I pulled up.. but still... what in the world Rocky Mount. The second those orders came thru someone should have jumped on making more chicken... perhaps even before handing out the last of what you have.. obviously you have enough bodies to handle your sole...

I worked at KFC in the pass and I haven’t eaten here and a 1 or 2 so today I decided to try the nuggets because they had different options so I came in to order in no one was up front so I waited for about 6 minutes to be served and the shift manager at the window stared at me the whole time so I asked a crew member is anyone serving the front counter he just went to the back and got another crew to come take the order and she got angry at the guy because I said I waited for 6 minutes and told him to let her know when people walked in after that she came to take my order and was so rude and didn’t even apologize for the inconvenience I asked her if she had an attitude then she just left the counter without replying and then a shift manager came up at that point I just told the lady no thank you I was really disgusted on how I was treated as a customer and will not return back to kfc I will just try the Bojangles...

Went last night ordered several items one was a 3 hot wing to go cup. I get all the home mouth getting set to eat my food. I bit into the chicken and guess what. All I saw was red, red, red. I would insert a picture if I could. I couldn’t return it cause by the time I got all the way back home (which is not in Rocky Mount), they were closed. So now I have to make time to go all the way back to Rocky Mount, before church, just to complain and get my money back. I will not be eating here again. Let’s not even get on the subject of the customer service. Just cause we try to mimic other competitors while using such phrases as “welcome to KFC, hope we’re having a wonderful day”.
