The Whole Bean Coffeehouse — Restaurant in Rocky Mount

First vist to this establishment. Larger than it appears once inside. Nice and inviting in the entry room with high top seating and lounging areas Dining area in adjoining room. Good selection of coffee and sandwhiches. Order at the counter then take out or dine in. I elected to dine in. I ordered a latte and a panini. The coffee and sandwich were very good and arrived quickly. My only complaint was all empty tables except one were dirty. I came at lunch and stayed about 45 minutes and never saw anyone wipe tables. Also the tub where dirty dishes were left was stacked high, had not been emptied regularly. It was not busy when I left and there appeared to be at least 3 people working. Would try again but would recommend better...

This place is a joke. Opens at 10am, after people are at work. I live in RM and will support any small business owner, but this is a coffee shop that should open by 6am and close after 3 or 4pm. 90% of the time, I drive or walk by this coffee shop, it is CLOSED. Obviously there are people who say the same thing, but the owners are not listening to the customers or potential customers. Food and coffee may be great, but if one works you can never get to try this place. Sorry after living in RM for 2 and a half years, and find this place open only 10% of my time when a pass by, not very customer focus. Plus I would question the freshness of the food and coffee. This coffee is the best around. Prices are very fair for the amazing quality. Me and my baby just strolled by here on our morning walk and I had only been there a couple times before but this morning was outstanding. I needed to make a bottle for my girl and she let me get water from espresso machine, she even remade my caramel frappe when my daughter knocked it out of my hand. I was so sorry about the mess and cleaned most of it up but she didn't even hesitate to make me another one at no cost. I would have gladly paid. Super sweet staff.
