Rocky Mount Burger Company — Restaurant in Rocky Mount

I have ordered online from Rocky Mount Burger Company 3 times since November 17, 2021. These are the only times I have gotten food from here. I ordered the first time (11/17) - got back to work, it was wrong. I was irritated because it was a pregnancy craving and I couldn't even eat it but I know that mistakes happen. I sent a message to the email address provided and heard back from the owner, he apologized and gave me a code to receive $5 off my next order. He also said ordering online is typically best during lunch, but any option has their pros and cons. The second time I ordered online (12/1) , I intended to use to the code but there was no place to put the special code. No big deal, I still wanted the burger and proceeded with the order. My order was correct and tasted good so it was worth it in my opinion. Today (12/21) I ordered online for the third time with some coworkers. We had two separate orders. Something was wrong with 2 out of 4 of the orders. My coworker didn't receive cajun seasoning on his tots or fries and instead of a plain burger I received a burger with lettuce, tomato, pickles and onions. My coworker said he would live without the cajun seasoning but was disappointed as he hardly eats out. I on the other hand wanted the burger I ordered so I called and they said they would fix it if I brought the wrong burger back. Luckily I have a very understanding boss and manager and they let me go back, past the time I usually get for a lunch break, in order to get my corrected food. Group of 11 after a Basketball Game(only 1 of us had been here). Kayla our Waitress was awesome! Friendly, attentive & knowledgeable!!!

I asked a Couple near us if they had been here before & they "ole yes!" Asked what they recommended. He recommended the Smokestack & she said you have to add the Sweet Potato Waffle Fries w/Honey.

Wife, Daughter and I ordered the Pickle Fries w/Ranch as an Appetizer. Come in a big Basket. I could have eaten 4 Baskets of those myself, very tasty! I also ordered one of there Sides, Bangin Macaroni Salad, to come out w/our Appetizer. It is juiced up with Jalapenos & Pepper Jack. Really good & Daughter agreed after tasting.

I went with the Couple's recommendations, ordering the Smokestack Burger(Mozzarella Cheese, Onion Ring, Bacon & Homemade Steak Sauce) w/Sweet Potato Waffle Fries w/Honey. Neither disappointed! Several Folks at our Table tried the Smokestack & also enjoyed it. One Gentleman said he always takes part of his Burger home(he's in great shape), but it was so good he had to finish it. My Daughter got the Sweet Potato Waffle Fries & also enjoyed them.

A Grandfather who was with us & knows food, told the Waitress the All American Burger he ate was one of the best Burgers he has ever eaten! His Wife ordered a Club that was ginormous & she said also tasty.

They had someone playing music. Though a little loud, he(whatever his name) sounded great. Just really good vibe there & bonus it sits across from the Harvester Performance Center.

I reiterate, Kayla our Waitress was Top Shelf. The whole Staff was friendly & you can tell they get a lot of repeat Customers.

Went in today around 4:00 PM. Sat near the bar area and was the only customer in the place sitting at a table. There were 3 people seated at the bar with drinks. There were 3 female employees behind the bar. Two younger ones were standing, talking and joking around at the end of the bar near the kitchen door. The other one was nose deep in a pad doing something and looking up, talking to the customers at the bar some. A male employee came in 2-3 times and spoke to the other employees then left. He appeared to be working on something outside and possibly was a manager or owner. I got that feeling from the way he spoke to the other staff members and his demeanor. He was sitting on the curb beside the dumpsters smoking a cigarette when I pulled in to park. ALL four staff members looked at me several times and knew I was there. After sitting for quite a while (company's response claims 3.5 minutes - I strongly disagree), not one staff member said a single word to me. Not hi, we'll be with you in a minute or anything. I would have felt better about it if someone would have come right out and told me that they didn't care about their customers and they would get around to taking my order when they felt good and ready or finished socializing with other staff. I just got up and left. I was further surprised when I was walking out and they looked my way. Even then, still, not a single word from any of them. I can't review their food, because they never would even take my order. Terrible customer service.
