Robin has created a beautiful, welcoming and historically charming place to relax, unwind, and unplug (if needed). Each room has personal touches making them special and unique- so much so that you want to come back and try out a different room. Rooms are well appointed, clean, well lit and ventilated. The grounds around the home are well lit, groomed and offer a place for relaxation, sitting by a fire pit or use of the outdoor kitchen/grill (check in with Robin before firing up the outdoor kitchen) I could sit in a rocking chair for hours, taking in a beautiful sunset view from the massive wrap around front porch. Mornings are met with a delicious, homemade, hot breakfast that will keep you full for hours- seriously Robin ensures your belly is happy! If you have any dietary restrictions or concerns, Robin is happy to accommodate your needs. Breakfast table gathering time was very special each morning- having the opportunity to engage in conversation with fellow guests that quickly feel like friends. Robin is also an animal lover and is a pet-friendly BnB which warms my heart. It’s no wonder she has repeat guests and books up quickly! Our photos below are from one of her Jump Into Mystery events; we had a fantastic weekend at...
Read moreThis was my first bed and breakfast but not my first stay at a throwback lodging establishment. I had a great experience. The house is very classic and has all the good experiences like creaky floors and classic furnishings. We were late getting in and they provided us the way to enter which was seamless. I never saw staff but they were just a text away and they answered text messages immediately. They left a nice handwritten card with our room details and a key hanging on the door. We were met by one of the house cats and it was friendly. The house was quiet but had all the sounds of being in a classic home. The bathroom was equipped and spacious. The bed was comfortable and roomy. We were awakened by the smell of coffee brewing in the morning which was a nice touch. We did not encounter other guests and everyone was quiet. Unfortunately they were not serving a full breakfast at this time but they provided a sufficient continental breakfast. Leaving and returning to the B&B was seamless. The area has great mountain views and it is in walking distance to restaraunts and other businesses. I am hoping to return in the warmer months and when they are serving full meals, and I look forward to a...
Read moreThis was my fourth stay at this delightful B&B, each time in a different bedroom. Each room was decorated with interesting antiques and vintage items, the mattresses were comfortable and bedding was plush, the bathrooms had great toiletries, and there were thoughtful touches like a bedside charging station with plugs and USB ports. The rocking chairs on the front porch provide an awesome view of the sunset, and there are several seating areas in various places on the grounds. There is a coffee station upstairs by the bedrooms and another one in the dining room. The three different breakfasts I’ve had were tasty and each was a generous serving. The location is so convenient to downtown shops, eateries, the Harvester, etc. Robin is “the hostess with the mostest” and from the moment you book until your departure her commutations and detailed and thorough. Need a list of local places to eat or drink? She’s got that! Want to know what to do in the area? She has a list! I would completely thoroughly and absolutely recommend this venue to anyone looking to stay in...
