The food is good, my problem lies with the pricing, their signature burger is 6.99 and doesn't even have cheese on it, that's extra. Got the double cheeseburger instead, their burgers comes with chips, most places if you want fries you are charged maybe. 50-.75 cents for the up charge, here you pay the full side order price of 1.99. And the amount of fries you get is no where near worth the price you paid. While I normally enjoy visiting small diners versus franchises when the opportunity presents itself, I will not visit this location again. Showed up about 10 mins before opening. At 7:04 I noticed people heading to the door so I followed suite. The light were off, and a lady I do not know made the statement “are they open? This makes the 3rd time I’ve been here and they aren’t open”. She checked the door to find it was unlocked. When we went in an employee came from the back and said “good morning” turning on the lights. Immediately I’m greeted with the musty smell of cigarette smoke walking through the door. Family home cooked food for breakfast and lunch. Good basics on the menu with ample specials every day. You will find hard working men and women stopping in for a good meal with a side of "thank you" and "please". Service is fast because they know you are busy and have things to do or a job to get back to. I like the chicken salad club...a combination of two things that are great together.
