What's the best ice cream place in the Cleveland area? Some say Honey Hut and other will try to tell you it's Malley's. Those people are wrong. As an ice cream lover and local to Cleveland, I can say with near certainty that you will have a better experience at Mitchell's. There are far more options, the ice cream is far more flavorful, the shop atmosphere is fun and cheery, and the service has never let me down. As far as prices go, they're on the higher side, but nothing too outrageous, and you get the bang for your buck. They have a good many seasonal flavors, and many constant options. You want a sundae? They've got it. Want a milkshake/malt of any flavor in the store? Can do. Feel like a root beer float? No problem. Need an ice cream cake or pie for a speacial occasion? Mitchell's can do it. What part of this building will a grown adult look back fondly upon in their twilight years recounting their childhood ice cream parlor? The sanitarium walls? The blasting white light?
I had a surgery earlier this morning and, straining my eyes looking up at this sterile ceiling, I am reminded of lying on the operating table.
It seems like none of the actual problems with the layout were solved. The queue congestion wasn’t solved in the new configuration of the tables. The entrance/exit is still too narrow for traffic.
Bring back the...
