Vargas Fruteria — Restaurant in Rogers

Our family stopped for the first time to treat our son for his first day of school. The first thing we noticed was the uncomfortably strong smell of floor cleaner. My husband actually had to leave the shop and wait in the car because the smell was so strong. The prices for not posted online or in the shop. We were shocked that the shake was $14.25. Normally I would not have paid that price for a shake, and would have left to get a more reasonably priced shake at a local ice cream shop. However my son was excited to try a new place out. It took over 15 minutes to receive one shake. Because of the smell on ordering, we had asked to make this a to-go order. I had asked if they would not put the sticky chocolate on the outside of the cup. After waiting, they did in fact not follow through on the request to not put anything on the outside of the cup. So we had chocolate all over the cup holder on the way home. Overall, I feel two stars is more than generous. I think customer satisfaction could improve by transparent pricing, improving the smell inside the shop, quicker service and following order...

This Rogers Location was absolutely rude to a customer tonight. The issue wasnt with me directly but they treated a young lady and her date so rude. POOR CUSTOMER URGENCY/SERVICE. On 02/27/2021 her and her date were in the establishment way before I had arrived. They had three young kids working and I believe there should have definetly been better representation here with them tonight. There was no urgency and no order to how they were calling out the orders, and they rudely would leave the item on the counter and walk away expecting the customers to match their own order with no order numbers being called out just the name of the item. They seriously skipped over this young lady. Time duration of wait for myself was from 6:38pm to 07:03pm, and that couple was here way before me. She simply asked for a refund and they refused to refund her money and told her they could give her some sort of credit or she had to take it (as they rushed it out to her). SOOO SAD!! DO BETTER and I would be more comfortable recommending people!!!...

Thought I would give it another try before I left a review but same issues.

Biggest concern is customer service. Both times I went it was the same young lady working. She never greets customers, she may be working in the back and will walk past you while looking you directly into your eyes and never say a word. When she was ready (after a 5 min wait) she just stood at the register without saying a word. I did ask her a couple of questions and she answered them clear so there's no language barrier. Just appears when you walk in your on her time and will wait.

Food is good. I've tried a few things but they obviously don't have the items listed with a price because they're high prices for the items.
