Updated(21Feb21) I filled out the form the Pei Wei team sent me after they read this review. I did received a phone call on 17Feb21 (sorry I missed-due to spam calls I only do text-but got a very nice voicemail) from the regional director apologizing for the service and emailing me restitution and a request for a second chance at any Pei Wei in my hometown or repeat at Rodgers location. I enjoy tofu dishes and whole food plant based eating, so their will be a repeat visit. I will keep you all posted and update the stars to reflect my findings at that time because any one can mess up, lets see if the location can improve its food/reviews to match the other Pei Wei’s.
Original post(2 stars-Visit 09Feb2021): I was so hungry I ordered to go on a cold icy night. I ordered the spicy Thai Dynamite Tofu, It sounds better than it tastes. I got back to the hotel opened it up, and it sounds better than it looks also! I didn’t know you could burn tofu, maybe it’s just overcooked so dry leather. It had red bell peppers like the picture but no green scallions very little sauce there was nothing spicy for sure no Sriracha was added. It was all dry and the white rice as well was dry rice. I ordered this at 6:30 PM and picked up at 6:45 PM. Not sure why it seemed like it was under heat lamps all night. if the roads weren’t slick I would’ve taken it back and ordered some thing else. once back at the hotel I put water on it and covered with the lid nuked it in the microwave and ate, as was I was sooo hungry, I will not be ordering this again. The veggie spring roll was good but you only get one for $2.50, it was not that good! my recommendation pass on the tofu at this place and if you order carry out check your food...
Read moreLet’s just talk about my Pei Wei experience tonight. I ordered my food online- no problems there. I got to the store and they had my food ready, seemed easy enough. I asked the girl if she could check that my rewards number was used- she said she would be happy to. Meanwhile, the expo girl came up behind her and told her to stop because it would work. The original person helping me said it wasn’t a problem to double check. Then as I was leaving, I asked the expo girl if everything was there or if there was another bag. With an eye roll, she told me it was all there. However, when I got home, I had two orders of lettuce wrap filling but no lettuce and no sauce. Already annoyed with the expo girl’s attitude, I drove back to get the rest of my order. The general manager, Nathan, was at the front now and immediately told me that he had just gotten off of the phone with my husband who wouldn’t stop yelling at him. Beyond the inappropriateness of that comment and his refusal to apologize for his staff messing up the order, he was snarky and rude. This all happened just now, at 7:00 pm on March 30th. Normally, I don’t care about one bad night. It happens. But this is a common occurrence at this particular Pei Wei. I’ve been to this chain in Arizona and other states and have never experienced the constant ineptness and lack of professionalism that the Rogers store displays. It was the rudeness of the expo girl and Nathan, the general manager, however, that made this particular instance worthy of a bad review. In fact, I would have gone with...
Read moreHello, My name is William Boone-chan I really enjoy this place... it is an absolute family friendly environment and lives up to all standards set by Pei-Weis corporate division. the crab rangoons are to die for. the sesame chicken is scrumdiddlyumcious. The cheeseburger is ok and the General Zippity doo chicken is 4/5. The fried rice give me homer simpson belly. Food was ready very quickly. I ordered the honey chicken. Rice was dry but the chicken was mouth watering. Atmosphere was good and the dining area were very clean. Staff were friendly but quiet. Overall, I have a nice relationship with this place but I do have one negative thing to say about it and it's that they do not call it Pay-way for nothing. I pay a reasonable amount of money for my usual order of the super silly ba-fa chicken but lately they have been loading my order with so my fried rice that I feel like I have become the super silly ba-fa chicken. I am so bloated with all the extra fired rice they put in my meal that I have not been able to leave my apartment in 2 weeks. my windows are blocked up by the mountains of take out boxes I've collected. Every time I finish a meal I inflate like very super sexy pregnant Jessica Parker it is truly debilitating. I guess at the end of the day I am just the person my pep pep raised me to be. A fun-loving beef boy who just loves a nice juicy piece of meat. I highly recommend this specific establishment it is probably the best Pei-Wei I...
