We made a reservation with 2X $50 gift cards, the reservation was $30, and was told that we had a $70 credit once we arrived. We ended up spending over 200$. Stupidly, I forgot to bring the paper copies of the gift card, because I assumed it was linked to my account. and once we went to check out with our bill that was over $200, they had “ no record that we had any gift cards on our account.” Which is absurd, because I used my account with my phone number and email to make the booking. Apparently they have “multiple systems” that don’t talk to each other.
We invited Three extra friends, who spent over $100, to join us at Topgolf, and we were there for over two hours. When the bill came, there was no credit applied, and they said we had to pay full price. We asked to speak to the “manager”, and we spoke to some random woman in a different colored shirt who had no answers. She apparently had another manager with another colored shirt, and he had no answers as well. We asked to speak to their boss/the “supreme manager” - Andrew Falls - Who apparently was absent during a holiday. We went on St. Patrick’s Day. And the manager was literally not on site. Talk about an unprofessional corporate business. We were told the only way to reconcile this was to drive all the way home, and bring back the paper copy of the gift cards. We lived over 25 minutes away, so it would’ve been almost an hour round-trip. So much for living in the 21st century. There was no compensation for this inconvenience and we were talked down to every step of the way.
We ended up paying full price, and tipping the service 20%, because it was not their fault, but it left an unbelievably bad taste in our mouth, and makes me never want to go back to topgolf again. Simply posting a review, because I want to warn people with gift cards, that if you do not physically bring a copy of that gift card/sign up online only, you’ll be paying full price. And there will be no compensation for your inconvenience once you do such a thing. Don’t make the same (honest) mistake I did and 🤔suspect that when you sign up with your email/phone number with a gift card that it will be reflected on your email/phone number🤔 one you’re physically there
Apparently they won’t exchange gift cards for cash either. So I’ll go hit some balls for one more session and then I can safely say I will not be returning
2 stars because the wait staff was great, and it...
Read moreI don’t know if I had too much of expectations but it wasn’t a pleasant experience for me personally. I visited this place on Friday evening and I was told that they don’t have bays available in the upper floor. When I checked they said if I register and add notes for specifications they would give the upper floor and they charge advance of $39.31 and $25 of booking fee for a 2hr reservation. I registered for Saturday to have a good experience and I went 10mins prior to my reservation and the front desk person mentioned there are no bays available in the upper floor. I told him the whole story of what happened and me paying extra $ as booking fee & he said he will see what he can do and it took 40mins for him to give me a bay. You won’t believe when I checked for my self there were 4 or more bays kept vacant in the upper floor which I took images of. The reason I was upset was that if I’m reserving in advance and paying extra $ so I don’t have to wait in line and yet you see bays available and not given to us was not nice. I somehow felt that they were doing on purpose. In bentonville as everyone knows there are not a lot of places to explore or spend time with ur family or friends and they are trading advantage of it. 1st time when we went our jeep had food on the windshield not sure who did it & we didn’t complain about it and Saturday there was a dent to our car when it was in the parking. I don’t know if anyone is doing on purpose or the security is bad. I wish it could have been managed more efficiently and let people who...
Read moreETA - 2023 Ignore making a reservation. It is absolutely NOT worth it! Made one for my son's BD a couple of months ago, and it was $75 up front on the app. I thought that was a deposit and would be deducted from the total after play - NO! They charged me $75 to RESERVE a bay. That was not made clear in the app that it was strictly a reservation fee and is completely separate from what you will pay at the venue, so buyer beware! I don't think this was a thing when they first opened. Otherwise, my previous review is still pretty accurate.
It's a little difficult to get a reservation right now, but I know that's partly because it's new and everyone wants to try it out. I'd also like the option to reserve farther out than 7 days. We arrived on time and we're escorted to our bay and greeted by our server promptly. We were able to play for a 2 hr window and with 4 people were able to make it through 2 full games and 12-4 min of practice shots after. The food was good, and we stayed fairly cool even though it was pretty humid outside. The drinks get watered down pretty fast if you have something with ice - just a warning. The facilities were clean and they were practicing safe distancing for COVID at the time of our visit. I also witnessed them cleaning the vacated bay next to us, including the clubs. If you are a left-handed swinger (as I am) you can request left-handed clubs be brought to you. We had a great time and can't...
