First off, I used to be a former store manager at a Subway in the NWA area. I studied the courses and know the amounts you are supposed to put on each sandwich.
I went in tonight (08/30/21) around 6:20pm and ordered 3 sandwiches. The first two were built correct. But, the third, a 6 inch spicy Italian, was made incorrect. On a 6 inch spicy Italian, you are supposed to put 5 salami and 5 pepperoni. The girl only put 3 slices of each. I proceeded to ask her if it was supposed to be 5 of each. She told me that it was only supposed to be 3 of each. Her coworker then informed her it was supposed to be 5 of each. But then the girl making my sandwich argued and said it’s only supposed to be 3. Her coworker knew the correct amount and she still dismissed it. The girl making my sandwich did agree that a 12 inch spicy Italian does have 10 pepperoni and 10 salami.
Now let me get into this… Here’s some formulas for you… *6 inch spicy Italian: 5 salami, 5 pepperoni *12 inch spicy Italian: 10 salami, 10 pepperoni *6 inch BMT: 3 salami, 3 pepperoni, 2 ham *12 inch BMT: 6 salami, 6 pepperoni, 4 ham
In what world does half of 10 equal to 3?! Plus, if you take into consideration that if you buy 2 six inch spicy Italians, it costs more than one footlong spicy Italian. That is how businesses get you to spend more. It is like that with every business. The smaller size always secretly costs more when comparing the same amounts to a larger size. So, if you’re thinking about it, if I’m paying more for a six inch verses a footlong, wouldn’t it make sense to do half the amount of slices of meat? Rather than only giving me 3 slices of each (3/10 the amount of a footlong) and charging me more with that secret little inflammation.
In conclusion, please train your employees to remember the correct formulas. It’s not hard to memorize formulas for sandwiches. I mean I did it.
Side Note: I have gone into this location 3 times within a week period, and not a single person has been wearing a name tag. And half the employees did not wear their...
Read moreNot such a good experience this time. They close at 9pm. We drive up at 8:30pm and they had already put away most of the vegetables and taken off the soda fountain hose covers off. We just rolled with punches and ordered 2 foot longs with what they did have out. When we went to pay, their pos system was not loading.(we waited like 20min)She suggested we go to the bank and get cash. Our bank is 20 minutes away. She said she would let us in even if it took a while to go get the cash. This would make our sandwiches soggy by the time we got back and if we went to another bank atm we would have to pay to get money out of a bank other than our own, as in spend more money for some subway sandwiches. She gave us drinks to make up for it and that was cool, but we had to leave the subs because it was 8:56pm by the time...
Read moreI came all the way from Bentonville to Rogers just for Tillman’s pizza, and it was absolutely worth the trip! 🍕 Tillman is an amazing sandwich artist who puts real care into making the food, and you can taste the difference in every bite. He has a great sense for food — the taste, portion, and even the perfect temperature were spot on. The pizza was delicious, fresh, and filling — and honestly one of the best I have had. Tillman’s welcoming smile and friendly attitude make the visit even better.
