So bottom line up front. This is the absolute best ice cream I've ever had. Just wow.

Details. When you enter, the staff greets you with a hardy welcome. This isn't the canned 'i have to do this as part of my job'. These folks really mean it. Then there's the choices of fixins. That's enough to make you stand at the counter until the cows come home. The staff will be patient. They understand. When you make your choice, just be prepared to get way more than you've paid for, then add a bit more beyond that and you'll be close to what they're going to give you. Once you've got your serving of ice cream, you'll discover how straight up decadent this stuff is. It's rich and creamy and just the right temperature that is not too hard or soft. The flavor will knock your socks or flip flops off (whichever you're wearing or both if you're wearing both. Yeah, talking to you folks too).

I've saved the best for last. Sandra. Sandra is the cornerstone of this place. I'll say that again. Sandra is the cornerstone of this place. She runs the shop with enthusiasm and a great attitude. She genuinely wants you to be more than satisfied (just satisfied isn't enough) with every aspect of your visit. She's friendly to everyone and makes everyone feel welcomed. You can't help but feel in a better mood after talking with her.

Again I found myself traveling through the middle of everywhere, Rolla Missouri, and I was absolutely honored to be able to return to my home away from home, Soda and Scoops. Unfortunately words can not fully express just how magical this ice cream is but I feel called to give it my best shot, and that is why I am blessed to be able to tell you about what i believe to be the 8th wonder of the world, Soda and Scoops in Rolla Missouri. When reading the description for the peanut butter cookie dough ice cream (which is to die for) it said scrumptious. This is a tragic understatement. Scrumptious does not even begin to describe how amazing this ice cream was. From the creamy smooth texture, to the flavors that made my mouth water and left me begging for more, it was nothing short of Heaven on Earth. I’ve never been to an ice cream establishment where if you get two different flavors, you have to get double the scoops at a higher price or else if you only want to pay the normal price for double scoop it has to be one flavor.

Not only that, but the employee couldn't even show me where that was annotated on the menu...it wasn't listed anywhere. He just said that's what he was told.

So my daughter only wanted two scoops, two different flavors (the blue and orange sherbet). She ended up getting one flavor because double the scoop on each flavor would have been too much ice...
