I've been to a smaller Soho closer to home and it was very good. Because of that I decided to try the one in Rome on my trip South. The interior was very clean and had a homey feel. The people working we're nice and quickly took my order. The food was pretty expensive but you get a large amount of it. My teriyaki chicken had a nice char on it and was full of flavor. The fried rice could of used a bit more seasoning. Overall it was very delicious. My only complaint is that some of the condiments had a very strong smell that I personally found unappealing.

Out of spring rolls. Worst looking, smelling, and tasting “lo mein” I have ever had. 6 tiny shrimp, noodles, and a few scraps of carrot. Should rename it “overcooked noodles.” I would drive back and return this garbage if they did not close already. Worst lo mein EVER. Lived in downtown Fort Lauderdale for a decade and for the same price (guessing higher rent & labor cost there than this tiny town) the lo mein is LOADED with shrimp, carrot, scallion, celery, pea pods, sesame seeds.... Avoid this worthless restaurant.

Despite the name, you are not able to watch them cook your food. The chicken and broccoli were not uniform sizes. In fact, some pieces of both were not cut at all. For the cost of living I thst area and, the dining experience, the cost is a little expensive. There was a huge b.v trash can full of garbage just sitting out in the dining room. The only good thing I found, besides the decor, was you can have as much yum yum sauce as you could possibly want.

The chicken was charred, like totally hard. It was drown in the sauce. I was very hungry but noticed that the most of the chicken was very hard and tasted like it had been on the grill for a LONG LONG time . I thought maybe the over cooked scraps got mixed in with some fresh chicken, being a cook myself , so I over looked it at first. When I told the cashier. She apologized and said she'd refund my meal. The owner looked in disapproval and told me ,"that is how the customers like it." Next time she says tell us not to cook it so hard. You couldnt even press the chicken in with a spoon. She offered 10% discount next time. There wont be a next time. Waste of $34.00. Left the food on the table. Epic fail, first and last experience. If the food wasnt burned they would have alot...

Food Is Great BUT Don't Leave a Tip - The Owners Keep the Tip!!

Let me first say. - The food is here is GREAT. The flavors, the quality - everything is tasteful and great. You order at the front, fix your own drinks and someone brings you your food. Sometimes they have one person who brings your food, sometimes two. Those same people clean the tables. Service is great. Many people don't leave a tip because you order up front. We always leave a tip. Have been here 3-4 times. But we learned that the owners do NOT Allow the server and clean up person to keep the tips. The owners take the tips and keep them for themselves.

We may return, but we will no longer leave a tip so the owners can pocket the money these servers are receiving. Attn owners: -...
