Honeycream — Restaurant in Rome

Honeycream is that special spot where I go to have that special moment, my sons love it and so do I. The atmosphere is beautiful from the flowers arrangements to the music, the feeling you get is being somewhere else in time. The gelato is just wonderful. It’s the special treat you can have without gilt. It’s made with Love, you can sense it in it, and all around it. It’s my favorite experience in downtown Rome. Staff is always very courteous and generous when you like to try all the wonderful flavors they made from scratch with organic ingredients. If you get to run into the owners, often you see them hand on, you will be able to appreciate the Love they put into their product by seeing into their eyes and genuine smile. Went here during a downtown festival and was sad to discover the storefront was closed due to some malfunctioning in the system. Luckily they had some of the gelato offerings available downtown and one of the owners/workers was so kind and guided me there. Later the store was open again and they made an effort to let me know I was free to sit there. I almost went in just to get more gelato, but I held myself back.

I opted for the seasonal bourbon pecan, and it was delightful. It felt like fall in a cup. I loved that it wasn’t overly sweet and it tasted very natural. The flavors were somehow strong but subtle in the best of ways. At a staff suggestion, I paired it with the chocolate, which was an absolute stellar of a staple.

The size of the piccolo was perfect. The gelato was some of the best I ever had. And the staff were absolutely excellent. As my Bestie says, the whole experience was absolutely worth an Instagram...

Unbelievable....came across this location by chance looking for parking. Remarkable set up outside and decor caught my attention. Was actually in the mood for ice cream decided to try the Gelato was not dissappointed. Handcrafted daily fresh Gelato. They have a large selection and wide range of options their signature flavor HoneyCream literally melts in your mouth. I tried a sample of the Strawberry Guava and then the Red Plum and was torn thankfully they let me split the cup into 2 flavors. I still had to get a small cup if the honeycream as well. They are very reasonably priced,they also have a few coffee selections ranging from cappucino and expresso. Stop by try a sample you will leave with a cup or in my case two.
