I got the Crispy Honey Shrimp, which was extremely disappointing to say the least. Unfortunately, I don't have pictures of the sad excuse and abomination of the food I received but will upload a picture of the receipt for proof that I actually dined there. The item I ordered is a dish with batter covered deep fried shrimps glazed with sweet sauce. With these kinds of dishes, any decent restaurant would use large shrimps and minimize the batter thickness, and this is where PF Chang's shrimp dish had the majority of its issues. PF Chang had the audacity to use tiny shrimps you'd find in those frozen seafood mix bags. Their premium shrimp dish that nearly cost $30 listing price was 10% shrimp and 90% thick batter. As the result of having an overwhelming batter ratio, the dish was extremely heavy and uncomfortably filling, and the overly sweet sauce did not help in any way or form. After 5 or so shrimps, I ended up dissecting the rest out of the batter and just consumed the seafood. I also upgraded the complimentary plain rice to fried rice and got soggy and bland rice. This was my first time dining in at PF Changs, as I usually frequent local Chinese or Panda Express, so I don't know such food quality is the norm at PF Changs or if I got unlucky with a bad restaurant. However, judging by my experience, even Panda Express' seafood dishes are multiple folds better.

This is the first P.F. Chang's I have ever been to where the kitchen has not screwed up my food in 15 years! So exciting! I swear, I have eating at P.F. Changs in Florida, Arizona, and Indiana and it seems like all their kitchen staff is high as a kite because they cannot seem to scoop tofu onto a plate. Who would have thought that airport food could be better than the regular restaurant? The wait staff were super kind and fast. Perfect for the airport. Food came out in under 20 minutes even though they were pretty busy. Overall, the food was well sauced and cooked decently. The only real complaint I can have is the a bit of laziness of the food prep: huge veggies with uncut raw ends make some peas bitter and meh in the mouth. Also, if you know Asian food... clearly P.F. Changs is more like Paul Frank Chase because this is the whitest Wonderbread version Asian food, but for what it is, I can't complain too much. If I find myself back in Detroit and hungry at the airport, I would return as they have good vegan options!

Haven’t been to a PF Chang’s and years but the food was not as good as I remember. We ordered Crispy Honey Chicken, Miso Glazed Salmon, Chicken Fried Rice, Chicken Lettuce Wraps. My biggest complaint was the fried rice and chicken fried rice ordered with our entrees. They had absolutely no flavor! The chicken one was marginally better than the plain - I believe they made a mistake and missed some ingredients. The Chicken Lettuce Wraps were amazing and had a great flavor. The Crispy Honey Chicken was hit or miss on if the pieces were 80% batter or not. The Salmon glaze and sauce for the veggies had a good flavor. Their mixed drinks were pretty decent but it’s sad they’re at the high airport price range or we would’ve purchased more.

Just ate at PF Chang’s at the Detroit airport, and I can tell you, that was the worst table service I have had in years, possibly ever.

We were sat at the high top between the bar and the dining room. After about 5-10 minutes, the bartender recognized that we hadn’t been greeted yet, so she came over and took our drink order. All good, we were in the business so we know what it’s like to be in the weeds.

Our server showed up shortly thereafter with our drinks in hand and took our dinner order: Mongolian Beef, Pork Dumplings, and Chicken Lo Mein…didn’t write it down. Now we’re worried. Food came out really quickly, but the runner only had two of the three dishes we ordered, so we let her know what we were missing. After another ten minutes, my daughter and I start eating because we don’t want to compound the problem by letting our food get cold. We see our server at the p.o.s. checking to see if she had in fact rang it in (pretty sure she did as it was listed before the other two items on our check). Instead of coming over and at least acknowledging the problem, she tells somebody else that she’s missing my wife’s dish. At this point, our drinks are empty. When the third dish (pork dumplings) is ready, she brings it out, drops it off and does a 180 and walks away without saying a word or offering to refill our drinks.

We finish our meals…thirsty…and stack our plates for her because we typically try to help out the waitstaff or bussers. Instead of taking our plates when she eventually did make it back, our server just drops off the check that we hadn’t asked for (because we wanted dessert), says thank you and turns right around again and walks away. I paid and left a 15% tip because I’m not a soulless monster, but any effort at all on her part would have earned a minimum 20%.

I’m not writing this to drag our server. That’s also why I omitted her name. This is a training and management issue. Be better, P.F. Chang’s at DTW. We’re...

tldr; DO NOT EAT HERE. THEY ARE WILLFULLY CHEATING CUSTOMERS.

Don’t know how this can even be considered a PF Chang’s.. an insult to the chain. Ordered Chang’s Spicy Chicken and it was probably 80% breading, half of the pieces had no chicken in them. Yeah I checked. If they threw chicharrones in a sauce and charged me $22 there would be little difference from what I received. Both the breading and the few thin pieces of chicken (I’m being very generous by assuming they were chicken, I had to pull the largest breaded pieces apart to find anything that looked remotely like it may have once been part of a chicken) were so hard and dry I’m still not sure if it wasn’t just more breading. I could not tell it was chicken by biting into it. It sure didn’t taste like chicken and there was no texture of meat. The kitchen knows exactly what they did, they are fleecing people because they know they can get away with it. I’m sitting on my flight right now reading through reviews and they’ve been serving people breading and calling it chicken for at least a year now.

This is the first time my food has ever been so bad at a restaurant that I lost my appetite and couldn’t even bring myself to eat half of the meal. I typically pride myself on being a clean plater even if I don’t like the food that much. This is the only time I’ve felt driven to write a review of any establishment ever.

I wish I would have stopped after the first bite and just gotten everything refunded sans tip. Being in an airport, I didn’t have time to send it back and get something else. I’m sure the kitchen was counting on that. Haha. I left hungry and what little I ate immediately sent me to the bathroom so the food went right through me…

Leaving the 1 star for service. The poor waitress was overloaded but was...

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I don’t expect much from airport food but at a minimum I would want my food to be hot. When we arrived we were sat down quickly but it was clear that it was busy and our server was rushing. I was not concerned about that as I understood that it would take a while to get our food since it was a busy evening. Soon after we ordered they brought the check. When the food arrived my husband told them they had the wrong order but he was ignored and the server (different from our main server) walked away. My food arrived cold, and at no point in time did the main server (Sarah L) come by to ask how the food was. Eventually one of the servers who was helping Sarah stopped by and I informed her that the chicken was cold, at no point in time did she offer an apology or to have my food reheated and instead walked away. She did not inform Sarah who also didn’t stop by until about an hour later. When she finally stopped by she took our card and walked away before giving me a chance to mention the food was cold (despite my plate being basically untouched). After they already charged our card she came back and I told her to let the chef know the food was cold. She responded very nonchalantly and barely offered an apology before walking away. I did not care to receive a refund but a genuine apology would have been appreciated. Outside of my chicken being cold the low mein noodles had no flavor. Again I attempted to grab their attention to at least get some salt but I was ignored. I am not a picky eater and have eaten in lesser establishments without any issue but this was by far the most flavorless and rude service I’ve received. Avoid eating here if you can, I would have been better off eating a...
