Parking lot is odd and not convenient from either direction. Spaces are large and abundant. From the outside, new, clean, dark tinted windows, dark tables and chairs. The bar looked interesting. Hostess very nice, perky and prompt. There was really only one table available, so it is popular. Menu a little hard to read because of lighting. Our waiter was very good, calm, thorough, professional. There is a small, 4 game lottery room. Bathrooms are singles, no stalls. The floor seemed slippery for several people. I noticed another server pick up used glassware with his fingers inside and then pick up condiments by the lid and neck with the same hands. Gross in my opinion. We both ordered salad- they just sounded good. My DIL got a fiesta chix salad and I ordered a Cobb. Again, just my opinion, but these should have different types of lettuce and chicken; but they were the same. Hers with blue tortilla chips- store bought and the ‘pico’ was the same mini diced tomatoes as mine but with some onion. No guacamole, no flavor. My Cobb had pre sliced, canned olives- just low budget. Nice bacon, sliced egg and some blue cheese. No bread sticks or crackers. The ice tea was that premix stuff. So we didn’t love the salads, but they were ok. We saw some good looking food going to other tables- willing to try again? The acoustics were hard to deal with- it got very loud in there, not really...
Read morePlenty of seating, the burger was good. My first visit, I had a delicious burger. Their sweet potato fries were fried to perfection. Kerry, the waitress, brought us fry sauce without asking! She's amazing! Their beer selection is smaller, but good variety. The burger was succulent and juicy. We ordered a poblano chicken club sandwich with sweet potato fries and beer. Highly recommend.
Edit: I came back a second time. The second visit, I had fish tacos. They came out Luke warm. The tacos were reheated after multiple employees touched the food to check. I did not receive a new order. It was merely reheated, as I put salsa on it before, and the tacos came back with the same salsa...but warmer. Did I eat all the tacos? Absolutely. They tasted alright. Will I order them again? No. I then ordered steak bites and they also came back luke warm at best. I had a nearby patron try them to make sure I wasn't crazy and he agreed. The flavor was great! If it was warm, I'd have no complaints. I didn't not finish them, but they did not charge me for them. The food was not up to par today, but the service remained exceptional! They offered to remake the order, but I declined. I admire their willingness to fix the order without hesitation. I still stand by the fact that the service was exceptional and the people here are wonderful. I'd still come back! I still recommend you...
Read moreThis morning we called to see if we could make a reservation, they told us they did not take reservations however the earlier you show up the better. We showed up at 5:30 and it was going to be a 25-30 minute wait(which we expected). We had told the talked to 2 different servers and let them know we would be sitting outside at THEIR tables waiting. 30 minutes went by and they had cleared a table that I thought would be ours. Instead they sat a group of people that had waiting maybe 5-10 minutes. I asked and she said they sat the wrong group, no apology, nothing. I let her know I was upset and my parents had traveled over an hour for my birthday dinner. They said they would check with their other servers and made us wait another half hour before they had a table for us. During that half hour they did not communicate with us about how long our wait was going to be or anything. When we were finally sat at our table my brother and his girlfriend asked multiple times for drinks that they did not receive until after we were done eating. As a fellow food service worker your most important quality as a server is communication. None of the black and bleu employees had that quality. I nearly asked if they had an application. My recommendation is if you have more than two people do not expect them to have...
