Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in Roseburg

I went in to buy two chocolate shakes for my wife and I after I got off work. $4.99 each and the cup was only 3/4 full. I asked the gal: "$5.00 each and they are only 3/4 full, her response was: "that is all I am allowed to put in the cup. Sorry". Guess the short-term profit is more inportant than a long-term customer to Carl's. I was extremely disappointed, when I handed my wife her shake, she asked why I drank part of her shake. I had to explain to her how stingy Carl's was with their portions. There are too many other options here in Roseburg to worry about ever going back to Carl's again. Enjoy the last $10.00 you got from me, that will be the last you get. I have photos of the product when I got home to post, but only if requested. I may post later and add to the post. Not usually one to right reviews, but this encounter warranted special exception. I was the only person in the drive through and I was asked to park, I politely asked if I could just stay in the drive through since there was no one behind me. The employee looked at my Iike a deer in the head lights and then said, "my manager asked me to ask you" continuing to stare. She then slammed her window muttering something under her breath. When I got my food a few minutes later she nearly through the bag at me with a seriously perturbed look on her face like someone my question had deeply offended her. Since a combo price is almost an additional $4 on a given meal it seems like there should be an element of good customer service to make up for the price differential. We ordered and ate inside the restaurant... big mistake. We were waiting at least five minutes before being acknowledged. After the employee took my order (there was two of us), she walked away without taking my boyfriend's order. We had to call her back to order his. While waiting for our orders, we needed the restroom code and was ignored by several employees at the counter. After we received our food, the contractor working on the facility under the counter by the registers, starting using a really loud hammer type drill and shopvac. It was so loud and disruptive that we ended up not finishing all of our food and left. You could feel the impact of the drilling. That couldn't have been sanitary that close to the food prep and where the customers...
