Dutch brothers is a Northwest company, established here approximately 20 years ago. Dutch brothers is located throughout Douglas County with many places to go to. The problem that I have with Dutch brothers is, the prices are extremely high for what you get. People have forgotten over the years this copy with a little bit added to it. Starbucks is exactly the same overpriced coffee. I suppose that's how they make money is serving you a 16 ounce cup of coffee, with a splash of cocoa and a squirt of whipped cream on top and charge you $4.75. By this does not sound like a lot, you can buy an entire can of coffee on sale for 5.99. Yes you are paying for the convenience but I don't believe most consumers understand the copies extremely cheap to buy and the commodities market keeps it that way for now and has been for the last 20 years. Making coffee one of the cheapest items you can buy on the market. Overall it probably cost them less than $.30 to make the copy that they serve for 4.75 . The staff is usually friendly, but they often seem very busy with other things rather than dealing with the customer. The last couple times I've gone there, they seem to have acted like they were doing me a favor getting me coffee and I was a bother for showing up. That's why I gave the three stars. In the past I have experienced very friendly people and helpful staff throughout the Dutch brothers establishments. But lately it seems like the quality of personnel and it goes downhill at many of the...
Read moreThis location always messes up my drink , so I have to go to the diamond lake location. 1st instance I went in before work and someone who was new was working alone . I ordered a vanilla carmel iced chai tea and he had asked if I wanted black tea or green tea (no biggie he was new ) I explained to him its made with chai . He hands me my drink and it's a full cup of black tea mixed with chai tea with no cream or milk or anything. Ended up being late to work that day because I had to drive to another location . 2nd instance was yesterday. They were pretty busy but I ordered a iced cocomo with extra coconut syrup , an iced carmalizer and a kids not so hot . They hand me the carmalizer pretty quick and I sat at the window for about 10 mins before they realized I was still waiting for my drinks . I watched them make about 15 other drinks for people behind me right next to me before they were like sorry what did you order ? I told them I was waiting for my other 2 drinks and she goes oh they are sitting right here someone forgot to hand them to you . Then drank my cocomo and it just tasted like straight chocolate milk like they added more milk to make it more sweet rather than the coconut i asked for . Also late again to what I was doing. Now today I went and ordered an iced American eagle and it was just espresso with milk , they forgot carmel and everything else that goes in there . Just wasting my money...
Read moreThis has been a great place to stop for my treat almost daily , However... the last 4 times I have visited DB ( different locations at that ) the batista's have been rude, and in such a hurry, that my order gets messed up. They hear the name of the drink and turn away, missing the special instructions that im requesting. My last visit was the final straw for me.... I waited at the drive thru window on one side and watched 3 cars have their orders fulfilled before one of the baristas looked my direction. Saying she was confused and that The morning had been off the hook, busy and didn't notice me sitting there.... I know I'm only one person that they have lost as a customer, but makes me think about and wonder who else they've done this to. Like I said.... my last 4 visits, and different locations. That speaks...
